Teemo rats mushrooms really need a nerf

They need a nerf because they

1)Gives his team free wards all around the map that don't expire

  1. They slow a lot when you run over them, which can shift momentum in a team fight or ganks, also can do a lot of magic damage early game

  2. They're incredibly annoying and obnoxious, i'm sick to death of running over stupid teemo rats crap everywhere

Riot please, limit its placement count to something reasonable

  1. They do expire, if you're complaining about wards take a look at Zyra, she just uses Q on a few seeds and turns around ganks. Let's nerf her too!

  2. The slow..ok?? What's bad about that? It's meant to turn around ganks and all that stuff. His whole kit is just based around that thats the best part. Some people just can't get a sweeper or vision ward..pretty much every teemo turns the top lane river into a minefield. You should obviously know that.

  3. If you're sick of running into them then either ban him or learn some counterplay. There's a reason why he isn't used in high elo or competitive play, he's easy to counter. The mushrooms are basically the only good part about his kit.

His R already got nerfed. The shrooms used to last 10m. Now they only last 5m.

Hrmph. One, bit even particularly effective as wards. Two... You expect an ultimate to NOT have an effect on a team fight? What a strange person. Three... HI. WELCOME TO LEAGUE OF LEGENDS.

Of course this is the same person complaining about Veigar's stun, Anivia's kit, and insulting everyone.

You know what? I think he's intentionally making threads like this to go out of his way in an attempt to piss off the community! I cannot think of any other LOGICAL explanation.

considering how some games last easily within the 30 minute mark, a teemo shroom lasting 10 minutes is way too strong and way too much potential damage that he can just leave laying around waiting for someone to step on, it causes a literal zone of denial for 10 minutes.

Honestly they should have put a cap on the shrooms he can have out on the map. That would have been MUCH better. especially on smaller maps.

Seriously man are you new or something if you have a PROBLEM with Teemo? He's always the annoying bugger and he doesnt use them as wards, he use them as fear inducing traps to make people have a freak out attack if they hit a shroom and then imagine teemo is nearby ready to Q to W hit spam them down. Plus they usually have 'priming times' so if your team is stupid enough to not notice teemo throwing mushrooms directly on your team and no one quickly gets out of the way to avoid them detonating after the 1~2ish second 'prime time' where it stealths and then can actually be tripped if any enemy is 'on it', then your team seriously has problems.

He can use them to teleport too but considering he has to eat 75 mana per shroom and if he doesn't stack items like Nashor tooth, Liandri's torment and Sorceror's shoes, they tend to not have huge damage or a fast restock time to be able to manage the shrooms so they just become more like annoying bugger items then death inducing traps, especially if no Magic penetration is backed on him to make the MR not reduce the damage by much.

PLUS they last 5 minutes (3 on Twisted tree line), so they usually aren't lasting long enough to be ungodly harass power. They only work if Teemo can constantly put them out. Literally the damage for Rank 1 is 50 base per second for a total of 200 damage over 4 seconds plus 50% of his AP over that duration (12.5% per second), so the base damage itself tends to not be out'standing, its only thanks to M pen and liandri's powerful hp % burn that will automatically get doubled up due to the slow on Teemo's shrooms that let it prevail so strongly. Since they don't last long and Teemo has to take the time to walk around and burn his mana in the process, he doesn't really get that many out besides maybe around 6 or so at a time without them usually being tripped. Plus the damage is stuck over time so besides refreshing the duration, they turn out to be highly useless to put together to kill them with shroom stacks only, unless you space them out enough to let the damage tic down a few seconds.

What really needs to be worked on is Akali, Yasuo and all the Marksmen champions who can exploit this 'penetration marksmen build shenigans over the standard Critical hit builds. Because unlike Teemo, they make it nightly impossible to get a fair 'trade off' where Teemo can still be countered by using red trinkets or detectors to limit his effective jungle polluting with mines play style.
