@Riot: Thank you for the Elise buffs.

You've returned her original strength like we asked for, and I look forward to seeing the spider lady a bit more in the LCS/LCK/LPL. I can't really say more than that, because from the looks of it, she finally seems balanced.

Please do not touch her for the next 22 years, and Thank you. Have a cookie. item 2052

I have to agree. I was up against one today, was surprised at how easily she can assassinate people now.

I think she still lack a bit of damage. When you think about it , a botrk Auto deal more damage than her Q. Especialy with sated devorer going around. (Jax / Xin are nearly as strong as her early , and get much stronger with their sated + botrk)

She could use either a flat damage increase on her Q (not to much to) or some kind of "mark" on her cocoon. Something like "Deal 5/10/15/20%(ult level) more damage to a target stun by elise's cocoon for the duration of the stun"

Have you considered building any AP whatsoever on her?

She don't have the tool to stay alive AP. My favorite build is : item 3020 item 3709 item 3151 item 3001 item 3143 item 3157. But i try a more offensive build on this patch : item 3020 item 3708 item 3151 item 3157 item 3116 item 3001 She don't have bad scaling

  • For the first build, you can tank way more damage but also dish damage. You are able to frontline with it.
  • For the second build make you way to squishy, so you will lack of a frontline unless you have a tanky support and top.

In both scenario, you get outclassed late. Which is fine , because elise is an early game champion. We can compare her to lee sin. My main problem is that she is more risky (can't ward jump, have to build damage to stay usefull), and fall of harder than lee. Sometime, she can't even use her early game, because she is weaker than other early champion (and weaker than some late champions .. during the early, wat ?)

Basicaly, i think she need a slight damage buff early game, and a bigger one for late. That would compensate the fact that , unlike lee, she can't return a teamfight with a combo. If she is buidling AP, and catch the AD with a cocoon, she should be able to be scary enough to not let it be unattended, since it's pretty hard to land a cocoon in team fights. (and survive long to deal damage)

My point is that you shouldn't necessarily be doing more damage than a BORK passive auto if you've built full tank. If you're building defense you don't get to complain about lack of damage.

Well, full tank elise would be stupid.

If an Elise does her job right early, then she should be able to burst down anyone mid to late. If she doesn't, then she'll probably fall behind in damage. If she had a BIT more late game damage than that would be nice, but for now she seems fine as she is, especially with Rylai's slow changes. (Nothing wrong with your builds, by the way)

Yeah, Elise was already pretty strong at bursting people (especialy) when ahead. Even before this patch. But the stun durating help her snowballing, and give her more time to combo. which made me happy when i saw it :D.

I said something about a "mark" on her cocoon, because it reward you for landing one if teamfight. Which is difficult, since you have either to flank or land it between tanks. Well, 20% may be overkill.

Remember, Elise is all about early pressure and her cocoon, and her early damage is fine right now. If they gave her the fizz treatment she would be broken as all hell, and we don't want Elise to be completely fucked over again.

I detailled on my post above. To do a quick resume, i think she fall of way to hard, and that some late game champion outclass her early. There is not a lot of reason to pick her, XinZhao Jax can pressure as much -well, before they get their devourer, since they have to stack it after, and gank less- , and be monster later. Other "strong early game champion" stay good enought when teamfight comes.Vi LeeSin

I play Vi quite a bit, and if I were to be facing her into Elise, I would probably expect early lvl 2/3 ganks from her and hope that my team plays safe. While it is possible to get early ganks off as Vi, a good Elise will always be able to outrade. Lee may be another story, but Elise can do as well/if not better than them both early.

Now onto your point. If I were facing a Vi as Elise mid/late game, I would have to be ready to shut her down. I don't care if it's ad bruiser Vi or tank Vi, I know I gotta shut down the carries that are probably following up behind her because I know I can't fight Vi at this stage of the game. So I cocoon the adc/mid, do as much damage as I can, then the rest of the teamfight plays out. But since I put that early pressure onto their carry, I buy my team time to shred the probably squishy Vi down, and therefore help negate the engage.

Jax and Xin would both get slaughtered by Elise if she finds them early, and late they don't provide much peel for their carries.

I'm alway afraid of bruiser when playing elise, (maybe because she can't escape if she is losing the duel) i will try to be more agressive against those next time.

I think she´s actually just back in the bad spot she has been - totally dominating the early game, but having no fall back aptterns for later on...it´s what got her nerfed to oblivion once, it´s what will her get nerfed again once popularity rises.

I don't think they'll nerf her again now that they know what it caused, they may just nerf her base stats slightly.
