The image on top is the brand new irelia splash teaser leaked today during the EU LCS, the bottom is her current base splash. Now I know we don't have more than this small piece of the splash to base assumptions off of, but damn it that looks 10x better already. Her hair isn't pitch gray anymore, her face doesn't seem as awkward, and...she seems agressive, like her playstyle. Maybe I'm rushing this and my opinion sucks, but frankly, it's been a year (Need clarification) since we saw the first pic for this splash, and to be honest, if it's been done for about this long, what are we waiting for? If you wanna get this splash out as soon as possible, upvote the thread. But damn it, I'll be sad if it doesn't show in 5.15/5.16.

Edit: I know that the image was teased a year ago at Worlds, I'm saying it was teased **AGAIN **just yesterday.

They also teased Warwick's new splash art at LCS... LAST YEAR. Same with Anivia and they just released it a month ago.

This picture has been around since early into the year, unfortunately nothing has happened and I doubt we are going to see it in the game up until her update or if we will see the whole splash at all.

People don't get too hyped up. Her chin is hidden behind her shoulder pad. Which means her ingame face probably looks like Taric's.

Irelia's new face looks like a completely different style from Fiora's new face.

It's cool that they're improving the appearance of Irelias splash, but… it would be nice if they could fix Fioras face. She looks like Sarah Jessica Parker now.

Yeah, but here's the issue, she'll get a new model.... Might be great, might be Fiora. Not sure I want to deal with buying skins and then having the content I bought altered w/ no option to keep what I payed for, or to be refunded.

Could include a texture / model update (even kit too, LOL) for Irelia, and maybe a texture/model update for a few of the older Ionian champs.

Ugh, but now shes in another unhumanly possible pose that focuses too much on angles. I still like it. Not that much in a rush for it. I liked her Gray hair. It seperated her from all the Brunettes and Blondes in the game.

It's not really a leak when they already showed off this

Besides, Anivia was shown off 8 months ago at Worlds and only just got hers about 2 patches ago... so just give it some time. They have many things to work on and are trying to make the base splashes of the champions the best they can be, especially on these older champs.

they may be waiting for an ionia event / visual update on irelia. jsut be patient it will come.

Once thing that definitely needs fixed is Shadow Evelynn - All her other splash art looks good, but it's just... odd. And Poppy, her facial expression bothers me - and overall it isn't that bad. I just feel it doesn't really fit in with the rest. Irelia's default needs fixed too though, for sure.

They make Fiora too ugly & Irelia too pretty, smh
