So me and my friends decide to Que up for a 5 man in Draft. I decided to go Sona Support to relax, seeing as how she's my main and all. MF Bot, Azir Mid, Zac JG, and Yi Top. Seemed decent enough except for the Yi top. Go into a game against a Maokai Top, Warwick JG, Caitlyn Bot, Ziggs Mid, and fucking Rengar Support. First we all think, "WTF Rengar support? He's gonna get annihilated!" Then the hilarity of Riot's match making ensues.

We get fucking demolished. I am currently Silver V, my friends are Unranked, Bronze III, Bronze IV, and another Silver V. Yet we get put up with the absolute fuckness that is a 2 Silver Vs, 2 Unranked, and a fucking Gold V player. What the flying hell is this?! And of course, the Rengar Support is the Gold V. This match making is completely bonked. Just because we are a 5 man que doesn't mean we should be put up against another 5 man with a goddamn Gold level player. Fix your goddamn match making Riot, or you won't get another cent from me.

I know I'm gonna get flammed because, it's the League Community and it's impossible to find people who are actually nice, but I'm gonna voice my rage anyway because damn it, someone has to!

I really hope this is a joke. Their overall team mmr was probably... 75 higher than yours? that's nothing. I've had RANKED GAMES where one team's mmr was 250 POINTS higher than the other's. And g5 means nothing. If he was playing with you, that means his mmr was around yours, which means his skill level was somewhere around yours.

There are times when I hate matchmaking, but it's a fucking joke to act like you didn't have a chance because of one player who was slightly better.

Story time! I've faced upper plat/lower diamond smurfs in games before. In my lane.

One time I faced an upper plat smurf in top lane. Yes, he beat me in lane. But I farmed up and died as little as possible to help my team. And we came back and won the game, because one person can't carry alone. We were all randoms here, we didn't even have the advantage of communication.

By the way, 5man coordination is MUCH stronger than any g5 player lmao.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that you got beat. Not because matchmaking beat you, but because the other team played better than you. And not because of some cheesy ass support rengar being god... Most likely because they all made better decisions as a group than you. He should have been absolutely useless bot lane, smh.

Yeh, I literally played a game last night where almost everyone in the game was like 500 elo higher than me. If anything people should look at games like this as a learning experience, especially if it's a normal.

Ranks don't affect who you're matched with in normal games. Example: https://gyazo.com/11e5ae55cd91a9f46b7e355c8cdccb0e (was duo with a friend of mine).

Checking from the match history, Rengar took a lot of farm and had low kill participation. Seemed more like the other players carried him. Also, Ziggs and Warwick appeared to be smurfs (level 9 and 5). There's no helping that, really. All I can say is you guys should've played better. Don't listen to the people saying to kill dynamic queue, this happened in normal games before that update.

The problem is.. They can't fix it. Because of 3-5 people premades dynamicQ is literally unbalancable since players of varying skill levels will be in the groups.

I'm guessing the enemy's unranked and silvers were enough to make the match 'balanced' in Riot's eyes.

So... Should I be feeling bad for solo match made into a full silver game as a d2. Gold 4 is just like silver 1 btw

Eh silver vs gold5 doesnt sound that terrible. Imo you underestimated that rengo and got shrekt, Sona is very squishy and if you go too aggressive without estimating the enemy well, you can fail very easily
