You know what's sad about Worlds? (Opinion)

The fact that there are 130+ champions in League of Legends. And so far, only 20-30 champions have been played in Worlds. Like what the fuck is going on here? The only exciting match I have seen this year is with GAM picking Rengar and Zilean and doing super well in the early game. That was exciting as hell to see because it was new! I mean they still lost because Ardent Support and shit but it was still interesting to see an actual Assassin Jungler being played.

20-30 champions? Did you actually see quarterfinals? A lot of pocket/cheese picks were pulled off effectively Some champions were a problem, that's for sure, but there has been rarely so much variety in champions pick at this point in knockout stage

This is actually one of the most diverse worlds so far.

Apart from season one where everything goes meta.

It's the world championship. People need to play meta in order to get an advantage. Sure it might be fun for us to see random champions, but for these guys this is their job. You wouldn't want you being the reason your team got disqualified, because you decided to pick a weaker pick.

If you want really exciting matches watch msf vs skt. There were some crazy picks and games that you should find just as entertaining as GAM's

It's understandable, because it is a championship, so they want to pick the best champs, that has the highest win chance. What I hate much more, that when you play League, you only face these 20-30 champs every time. People see pros playing those, and they dont pick anything else, because they want to play like they saw the pro players... Im instantly flamed if I pick a "no-meta" champ, and called a troll ON BLIND PICK lol

Yeah well with championship on the line they are going to play the strongest champs/items.

It only when matches have no bearing on their standing/placements that they gladly play random champs for the fans. Like this game for example:
