Hey there!
My name is Blindeye and I am a S5 jungler and mid main. I have played most if not all junglers. I have yet to touch Shaco, but I have heard of his potential. Is he a good pick? Does he have the potential to make game changing impacts?
Also, what other good junglers out there should I try?

I've been considering him. I get that his main role is to assassinate the carry and such, I just don't know if he is still viable late game when everyone begins to stack armor.
Atleast with someone like Lee Sin, even if he falls off late game his kit still allows him to contribute (i.e. insec, knockups, slows). Not really sure if Shaco can contribute anything late. Open up my eyes though as I am still very interested in him.
Brotha1 votesLate Game Shaco is a split pusher predominantly. If he can catch someone out he does so but he does fall off noticeably late game. Honestly if you want an assassin jungler there are far superior options in this current meta.
Clouded Magi1 votesI actually love Shaco with the new jungle smite buffs, the krug buff is so, so good for his clears, and I'm very happy that he can actually do well in the current jungle, but he is not that great against a very tanky team.
Shaco is best picked when the enemy has a triple carry threat and one of them needs to die, or at least flash out when Shaco engages. If you master his ult you can practically survive every fight and provide utility with the slow or fear. He also is very good at taking baron/dragon because of his high single target damage. If you like ganking every lane early and snowballing your teammates, then split pushing/ taking out one carry in the lategame, Shaco is for you

The Bearded Bard1 votesMy favorite champion. He excels against stupid players, but find that one player that actually upgrades their sweeper at level 9 and you're done for. Fortunately you can then resort to split pushing.
