Its not only cause he counters all that. Its because he counters all that... while being one of the beefiest champs in the game, doing crazy high burst, being able to stun AND slow.... a partial global ult.... What con's are there to playing him in any solo lane or support? None. That's the answer. Riot has made dozens of mistakes over the past two seasons, but Tahm is one of the worst. He shouldn't be in the game.

actually no they dont counter him. his e gives him enough sustain to deal with them. gray health makes poke not very effective aginst him. and its not like hes lacking cc.

lane tahm plays like a tanky poke mage. spamming q and w on his opponent, constantly keeping him in the danger zone. meaning if you try to fight him in melee, hes either gonna hit q to stun and disengage, or hes gonn auto you once then eat you, and then stun you.

im fine with his kit in general. i absolutely hate the fact that his passive decays extremely slowly stack by stack instead of all stacks falling off at the same time, like it works with EVERY other 3 stack mechanic in the game.

please name another champion that doesnt lose all his debuff stacks at once when the timer runs out.

i dont think this would hit him too hard. he wouldnt lose any of his gimmicks. it would just make it harder to build stacks with poke instead of trading in melee.

Early game his Grey shield special as support its not that good (because he dosent even max it) so any poke support destroy tahm trust me i play tahm in diamond 2 as support and i have mastery 5 on him i can log in to my other account if you dont believe....

But nobody and i say NOBODY wants to play poke support they all want to play ALL in support leona/alistar/thresh just because this 3 champs can auto win the bot lane! So what tahm do? DENY that all in every 5 SECONDS CC lock with his W and people are mad

Now poke Support can bring him low enough and make him useless because tahm dosent have all in and he dosent have any poke outside of his Q that its a skill shot that cant hit a poke support because the poke support would stay back and poke him better (try to play VS Nami or lulu as tahm and regret the day you buy him)

Now lets talk about the solo lane

In solo lane Sustain DPS damage DESTROY tahm and he is a tank so if he fall behind in items then he couldnt be able to tank very much because against lets say Darius or Riven you may have the ability to Q but your Q would hit the shield of riven and then you will eat the ALL in of riven and you are dead and no tahm is not that tanky early one so he cant survive the lvl 3 or 4 all in of riven or fiora and he would get destroyed! and that why you dont see tahm at worlds as a top laner you see him a support to counter the ALL IN supports!!

Now about his stacks on his passive sure like i say on the other guy i dont mind if riot nerf some of his damage solo laning aspects but they would need to buff his support aspects

And if you really have a BIG problem with tahm then play gnar or vlad and just auto win the lane by pressing Q

This guy gets it I play Tham top and I don't even focus on killing just farming. He really has very little in the way of punishing people except the threat of three stacks and is pretty weak pre six. But if you try to all in him he can easily win 1v1's even vs riven or any other burst dps champ. After 6 I can pretty much build full tank shove my lane like a god with his W and kill you if you try and kill me. One big problem though I can't kill you unless you try to kill me, I have no all in I can't gap close with out an ally and if you have any dash I'm not getting three stacks on you. His biggest counter is to just ignore him and farm then cc him in fights, he's like a nasus with a much weaker slow. Come late I have zero engage so as long as my team has good engage im golden if not we are kind of screwed no matter how fed I am if i can't AA you I can't do anything.

He has weaknesses but I'm sure rito will nerf him cause his biggest counter is to ignore him. Rito wants big plays Tham is like hiemer oppressive in lane if you try to kill him but just not a threat if you don't go aggressive. I think his stack timer could take a bit of a nerf add two seconds flat to his Q and a drop his ult ap scaling and bit and he would still be strong. His win rate would drop ever further because he is hard to do well with in teamfights despite all the QQ threads. But he would still be good at doing exactly what he is good at doing the QQ would go away because Muh worlds is over. He's fine he has a crap win rate because he has counter play.

im not bothered by tahm in general, or that he can save people. its his deal, and thats fine.

but lane tahm. its just that his passive takes so freaking long to decay for no reason. if he wants to get the stacks up to trigger his w and stun, he should be required to get into melee range, and stop spamming q and his spit like a tank and a poke mage combined.

Well the problem is that every post on boards is about his W and how he can save someone from the team and all that!!

Nobody talks about his real problems (Grey shield/and his high max hp damage on his W) people want him to be useless as support too so he cant save anyone

And they all say about how broken is "devourer" because they get a big NOPE to their BS point a click abilities

I agree that his grey shield need to be nerfed and his max hp damage on his W but with some buffs on some other aspects of his kit

I like tahm as support so if riot can make him a better support that fine to me if they nerf some of his damage

But when i see people asking for nerfs to his speed on his W and how the W need to have 30 seconds cd and bs like that i can see what they main and why they are mad

Have you ever played against a Kench jungle or top? The only thing that you can do is run away. He's impossible to kill and hits like he's an assassin. Best part is you are practically forced to focus him down because he is doing as much damage as the adc. Atleast Tahm support can be dealt with by because he won't have that damage. Riot needs to nerf his damage while keeping support Kench as close to where it is as possible.

Leona Alistar Nautilus Insta delete button and point and click cc Leona needs to land his ult because its a skillshot, so her gap closer. Naut has his ult as lock on cc, everything else needs to be up close and personal. Alistar literally needs to be on top of the enemy laner and has to get himself into dangerous sitations to engage.

TahmKench Has a 3 stack stun, a barrier, chunks with %health plus magic damage even when not building magic damage, a built in warmog, a point and click cc that allows him to repositionate people or single out an enemy and a tf ult that can teleport two people. Yeah... tham is not OP at all.
