It's the best thing Riot's implemented in this game.

I know a lot of people don't like it, but it lets you try new and exciting roles that you wouldn't have otherwise!

As an adc main I must say it's frustrating sometimes when you get an autofill support. Usually I can tell right away when they don't know their champ, or don't understand that it's a 2v2 lane so bad teamwork or positioning in combination with the cc and damage of 2 ppl can easily get you killed. I've had many supports who overstepped a bit when I was behind the wave to cs, and they get chain ccd and blown up super quick and are shocked at how they just got deleted. It's difficult to carry your lane if your support just flat out feeds, especially when you're playing Jinx or Vayne who just can't pick up their slack early.

Autofill is pretty much a bandaid for there being not enuf junglers, and supps. Really what riot needs to do is rework the support class so they get more recognition and arn't so dependent on their adc so more ppl play supp.

It's also kinda bad in ranked, where its a totally random variable that can easily cause bot lane to lose.
