Morde needs some love....

All of my last season favorite to stomp are now killing me 100-0 no issue. Give him some fucking stats. Reduce lethality, and armor pen, and reduce over all game damage, or just make armor worth something again.

I have completely stopped playing him top and went back to where I started with him; Mid lane.

His kit lends itself better as a mage-like mid lane pick that likes his top/jungle to engage for him.

Top lane is just asking to get camped and a lot of recent changes just made top lane Morde less desirable of a pick than he was before. He's fallen far from grace and should not be played top in this current meta.

Azir Cassiopeia Ryze Taliyah AurelionSol Anivia Viktor that can all pretty much just kite and poke you out of lane.

I permaban Anivia and from all those champions only Cass and Azir really pose a rough lane.

If you play it correctly, most mages cannot hope to poke Morde out of lane and kiting becomes a non-issue with the build I run that just requires me to land E and R to kill them off.

Just being back in rotation for occasional changes would be alright. A bug fix here or there.
The shittiest thing about being a Morde main is the whole.

Riot: He's on the Tier 1 list so he will be reworked sometime between now and 2022. Unless we just happen to have to focus our time on mini reworks for the most popular champions. Like ahri and lux In which case it's closer to 2024.

But until then. You get no changes and no skins. Hope you still want to put up with this shit for the next 4 years.

Bug fixes rather than direct buffs may actually help him more

I think that the best possible buff in the short term for Mordekaiser would be for him to have mana and convert the shielding passive into gray health like TahmKench

I was thinking that when I saw the give morde mana... If they are going to make him a champ that scales off of mana too, he should get free ap on mana items, that way I can finally justify that dank item 3001 item 3110 item 3027 item 3003 build

The conversion on mana to AP would have to be capped and probably low. I doubt they would do it since it skews one champs gold efficiency items

You mean like Ryze Vladimir Malphite Galio ?

They all have either stat conversions or scale off of something that isn't ap/ad.

I almost added yasuo to that list with attack speed and his Q, or even just double crit, but then I thought I'd have to add jhin because of his conversions too, but then if I added jhin I would have had to add akali's conversion.

It was a pretty downhill trend.
