Why? I don't understand why people pick him so much. He is definitely hard to play with his "orbwalking" mechanics and kit in general. I love playing him but I just wonder why people play him so much.
Honestly anyone that thinks he is broken hasn't played Ryze before... He is really, REALLY weak to lockdowns/hard engage. And he is by no means easy to play...

Contrary to popular belief he does require some experience to chain correctly. People like faker can do this almost as fast as a computer programmed to just combo chain.

masterdragon4811 votesTanky, CC that can be chained (chain prisons is still a thing) and can't miss, insane damage. Also in professional play, a lot of champion weaknesses can be ignored or circumnavigated because of a higher level of team coordination; just because a pick is good at LCS level doesn't make it a good pick in solo queue; they are almost playing a different game.
