Is the game balanced?
The game will never be truly balanced, but that's just the nature of the game. Nearly everyone gets a turn . The spotlight at so e point or another. Its a game in constant flux, there will always be the stronger and the weaker.
But virtually everyone is playable, also. Just cause there may be a strong get champ doesn't mean a good player can't make a champ just as effective.
not even close. the problem is, whenever the game comes close to being balanced, they throw everything overboard again. i could do their job better.

they do what it takes to keep as much money flowing as possible is what i would think because balance nope never closest thing recently was in the so called tank meta where fighters were being played and not dieing immediately like everyone else who built no defense did. and before that was season 3 where 4-8 assassins were a problem and most of the other champions were balanced
You think Riot pays people to balance this game? Ha! Hahaha! Funny. See, balance doesn't make money for an F2P game, so this game will never be balanced. Riot's "balance" team is just a bunch of greedy suits who try to come up with ways to alter the "meta" and create / force FOTM champs / classes to spur skin sales, and repeat every couple months.
Balance is not a factor, in F2P.
The game isn't supposed to be balanced. It's supposed to be unbalanced just right. That's why there's flavor of the month champions. And why Riot has to rebalance everything after new features have been implemented.
the game is heavily unbalanced but that's kinda the point if the game acheived perfect balance then the game would stagnate and die people constantly come up with interesting plays and sometimes you just gotta take power from them as a great champ would say "balance is weakeness

Riot has a different philosophy about balance than most, so technically the game will never be balanced when considering this.
They use the approach of everyone gets a turn at being strong, where games like DOTA go with everyone being OP all the time. Different philosophies.
