It's all part of the forced 50% winrate rigged bullshit their match making pulls, especially during promos where they can reasonably detect you've been winning too much. The extra LP loss is just one of many factors meant to keep you playing longer and thus more likely to spend money on the "Free Game".
Looks like thats two losses, not one.
Was it 2 losses and 0 wins, or did you win one Promo in your Series? If it's 2 losses 0 wins then yeah, that's why you've lost 2 matches worth of LP.
