This game NEEDS voicechat and replays

This game, particularly in RANKED play, needs voice-chat and replays. It will foster team work and reduce toxicity.

Now before you say "Oh with voice chat people will just curse and be more toxic". You need to understand that with voice chat you are being recorded and thus the evidence becomes much more clear as to who is being toxic and who is legitimately trying to win. And with voice chat a lot of players aren't as rude because then they will have to speak and think on their feet rather than sit back and type insults.

You can choose to not say anything in voice-chat and just listen in on a person who is talking. And confirm with pings/messages if you prefer not to speak or not have a mic. At least it will keep everyone in the loop. Voice chat will help against trolling and feeders because first if its recorded then it becomes much more evident who is the troll and/or feeder. Say for instance we are listening to a voice chat recording of 4 players trying to win a team fight while the 5th one is just talking shit or he/she is not saying anything (thru voice chat or pings/chat) and refuses to acknowledge his/her team which then indicates that he/she clearly does not give a shit and then it becomes clearly evident they are trolling/feeding but trying to stay under the radar to avoid ban. Also it is easy to spot the people who are legitimately trying to win but maybe a bit "overly passionate" about the game and swear/curse (Which is not a bad thing), while the not so legitimate player who may at first glance look innocent is just pretending to do nothing but look busy by staying in jungle and farming and refusing to help the team or not saying anything when asked by teammates as to why he is not helping. Thus another trying to stay under the radar and avoid getting banned for being toxic. Also not everyone on the team has skype/curse or any other 3rd party application so it gets frustrating when there is a 3-4 man on your team and they don't talk because they are coordinating without you in skype. This would remove all that.

The second thing is replays. Voice chat would not do much without replays. Because then with replays you can connect not only what the person was saying but what he was doing. Actions speak louder than words so sometimes you will have a guy who is swearing is ass off but he is legitimately trying to win while another player who may be "acting" polite thru chat but he is purposely grieving and you can see it right away with replays combined with voice chat.

Replays/Voice-chat can be limited to ranked play only so there would be less stress on the servers. Thus reducing the manpower required to get the job done. They could implement bots/algorithms to pick up certain keywords in voicechat that would trigger them to look into it further. Like for instance if someone was reported swearing in voice chat and the say a certain racial slur was recorded and then the replay picked it up and would trigger the system to look into it. When voice is recorded then the words and key phrases can be picked up automatically. Requiring less effort to enforce rules. Makes it easier to search and detect as well. Also they could only keep up to a certain amount until they clear all the replays/voice-chats like say they are valid until 10 days. Within that time you can submit a report if someone was trolling/feeding on purpose and once that report is in they could remove the replay so it strains the server less.

So when you combine the voice with replays its as if you were in the actual game to see what was truly going on rather than one person's perspective on the game. Which in turn reduces toxicity and fosters team work. It's a win-win.

Replays will never work in league due to how the client is set up. basically, replays can only be stored on the players computer, which means that there is a huge backdoor for hackers/dataminers to break into the game and set up cheats. riot supports most 3rd party replay software.

As for voice comms, sure, but don't be surprised when people start flaming you in chat for not being on voice coms. (yes im talking about overwatch ranked)

TBH I don't want voice chat in League, if it came out, I wouldn't use it.

I don't like the League of Legends community. I also don't really fancy angry 13 year olds cursing me out when I am trying to play a game. I want to interact as little as possible with the League of Legends community.

Replays would be awesome though, and I have no idea why Riot has not done this.

There have been instances in which the game confuses third party software such as recording and chat programs for cheat engines, resulting in player bans. It's not happened to me because I'm too nervous to take that risk.
