yes, I tried him in Custom, and I got a whole lot of confusion in playing him now

Long time ago, Rito tried making a "viable" AD Nidalee by making her Trinity-viable, till this does nothing but bullies the shitload out of every melee champs. And now, with the Juggernaut rework on Mordekaiser combined with the fucked up build path & illogical role-picking, this really juggles a lot of questions.

  • The fuck is with the Relic shield in recommended items? Is he a support now?

  • Look at that mega-nerfed E's based damage whilst adding an AD ratio. Should I now build hybrid on him now?

  • That W typically does nothing in solo-lane. So he's a compulsory bot laner now?

And I bet Rito's answer would be:

Could you just like make Morde stay as a top/mid laner only? Instead of bringing him bot? Cz this does nothing but creates more toxicity & bad games in my elo, due to Morde bot autolockers & "support" Morde cs-steals.

Relic shield on you and the support enables you to get the health advantage with together with W and because it helps him last hit which is crucial for him to outlevel and outrade the enemy.

ADC top or ADC mid/Azir.

Im not saying Mordekaiser is good, because I haven't played much this patch yet, but atleast I could see the reasoning behind why you have double relic as a starting item, rather than complaining you should be looking for possibility.

Your just kneejerking because you dont understand what mordekaisers purpose is yet(none have yet and I have certainly not).

But... When I see this mordekaiser. Do you know what I see? I see potential.

I see that you can have a midgame adc as corki or ezreal solofarming, getting levels while your support and mordekaiser goes even with the enemy adc/support. This way your entire team has a level advantage wich can snowball into a giant lead.

This might actually be a tactic in the LCS because people often send their support together with their toplaner there.

you do know item 3146 and item 3124 exist too right? so no idea what makes you think that item 3078 is even that good of a choice for Mordekaiser .He has relic shield in his recommended items because he is melee and he likes health, relic shield helps with the sustain if you are in bot and it also gives your support a few extra gold. His E is nerfed because pretty much 90% of his damage comes from his Q, have you seen how much damage that thing can do, it's broken

actually triforce basically outclasses both of those other items simply because it gives mordekaiser a shitload of stats that he scales with and it synergises well with his Q because of phage passive and sheen passive.

other than the phage and sheen passive TF doesn't give you anything that item 3146 doesn't already give you in better quantity. If you really wanted the phage passive you could just get elsewhere or just get item 3742. Sheen passive is ok at best but not worth in my opinion the cost of TF
