Thinking about Learning Poppy

Are there any guides I can use that are current with season 7? I want to learn top, and as the title suggests, Poppy as well. Reason being is that learning a solo lane may help me get better at adc. Are there any tips for learning top that I should follow? Also, anyone want to set up a 1v1 practice session with me?

Just looking to get better at League in general, and I feel like learning a solo lane might help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a video about Poppy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19XYWrZ9e9w A Diamon player on season 6, when this was recorded, now has to climb up from silver. It was funny when he released a video about his rank placement. This will give you a good understanding of her abilities and phases of the game. Really good info.

You don't need a guide for poppy... there's no hidden mechanic. Just read the skill description and if you know how to lane top then you are fine

add me for a practice 1v1 sesh broo

i love top and lol hate me but i play yasuo and gnar alot

i also do pretty good with riven if i get a few warm ups in

i played poppy jungle before so sure i can help

but top is a pretty boring lane just kinda saying... nothing major happens unless u got a playmaking champion that isnt too strong in lane

its stupid bcuz the other toplaner either pushes u in forever or u push them in

Poppy's pretty simple, with her main unique mechanic being her double aspects on Q and E. If you hit both Q's, you'll probably win the trade. Wallpins will 99.9% of the time win you the trade. DPS isn't too high, even with Triforce. Know your wall pin range and learn how to bait with it. Your combo is fairly easy on your mana, and does a lot of damage, too.

Top lane stuff is level 2 shove, if you think you aren't in danger of being chunked out at level 1, hard shoving for level 2 just by continuously auto'ing the minions (and perhaps throwing a Q in if your opponent decides to get in your way. Care not to draw aggro, though. You'll take a fair bit of damage and have to waste time dropping the aggro) getting the CS ofc, then forcing a trade level 2 or maybe just zone a few minions. Your damage is pretty decent compared to most, so it's mostly about taking favorable fights and positioning yourself for wall pins.
