Favorite Champions (Gameplay and Personality)

As an adc main, and as a newbie to League of Legends, and online multiplayer in general, I tend to gravitate to those characters in any game that have a lot learning curve, but at the same time, manage to be good competitively. Those characters are Caitlyn and Jinx. I also play a bit of Miss Fortune and Tristana on the side.

1st fave: Caitlyn 2nd fave: Jinx 3rd fave: Tristana 4th fave: MissFortune

I love Caitlyn for her gameplay, accessibility, and for being a fundamental character to learning the role of ADC. Caitlyn has good damage, the highest range in the game early level, has great pokes and harassment tools, and has the ability to keep your enemy ADC on their toes with her traps. Also, the good escape helps as well. However, I find her personality a bit boring, tbh. She has this really good lore, but personality wise, Caitlyn feels wooden in comparison to my other favorite champion, Jinx. That being said, I love Caitlyn's classic skin. The design just screams "steampunk", and I am a big fan of fantasy style works done in steampunk. She has a design that symbolizes class, and intelligence, and it naturally draws me in, aesthetically.

Jinx, on the other hand is a real piece of work on both fronts, and I mean that in the best way possible. Jinx has a crap ton of lines. She has a lot of jokes, taunts, etc, and she just comes alive on the battlefield. While I don't find her design the most aesthetically pleasing, her personality and gameplay make up for it in spades. I love how Jinx talks to her weapons as if they're real people, and I genuinely find it hilarious when she gets pissed off at Fishbones, her rocket launcher. Pow-Pow doesn't seem to get abused all that much, though. Gameplay wise, Jinx is not a newbie friendly champion at first. She may look like a pick up and play ADC, but the lack of escapes makes it so that new players to League will get themselves in trouble a lot easier than Caitlyn. Sure, she makes up for it with her passive, and her damage is great, but Jinx being a late game hyper carry, makes it difficult to get into playing her at first. That being said, however, a good Jinx is freaking terrifying, even in early game. I would not want to fight a gold level Jinx main... Not at my level anyway. No thanks.

Tristana is great, but not for newcomers, in my opinion. One would have to learn positioning really well, and Tristana's passive makes farming a bit more difficult if you're not trying to shove the wave, so getting used to her is a challenge. Tristana's escape on the other hand, is one of the best in the game, though, you have to use it strictly for defense if a trade is not going in your favor, and it's really easy to get greedy and get yourself in trouble.

Miss Fortune has no escapes, but dayum is she a fine ass lady. Before I go any further, if you play Miss Fortune and DON'T have her Arcade skin, what are you doing with your life?!! I have to say that using Double Up as both a farming and harassment tool is kind of difficult. MF's passive is great for when you need to get somewhere quickly when you're out of combat, but her ultimate is a pain in the ass to use properly. Other than that, great champion.

Now, who are YOUR favorite champions?
