Cause I want 'em fired. This is the most dumb thing I've ever seen. Queue for flex placements top or jungle, i'm placed support. Hello?? Who do you take me for Riot?? Does my match history, do my played champions give off the impression that I even know what a support is? I don't know wtf those things are, that's a whole different language. And you want me to play a role that i don't even know the definition for in ranked??? Like, for real for real? Did I pick fill? No, I picked top or jungle. Don't put me in a role I ain't play. That's saying "Here, wait 5-30 minutes depending on how many times you've had to dodge from support. Try again :)"

I am very much not a happy loli right now.

Would you rather have this system with autofill, where, if you play one support or fill game you get guaranteed one of your choices for five games, or would you rather have the old system, where you could only choose from the roles the people above you hadn't picked yet?

I think the one in-between worked just fine. Longer queue times, guaranteed role every time. The one where you'd queue up with your two preferred roles, with autofill being OPTIONAL. Besides, if we're to be honest, nothing is stopping anybody from picking the role they feel like playing regardless of what they get anyways.

Except for the fact that not doing your role is considered trolling. If a support decided they're the ADC now without any aproval of the ADC, that is trolling. Personally, I think it'd be best if everybody simply got assigned one role at random, giving everybody a fair 20% chance for every role. If you can only play one or two roles at your current elo, you do not deserve that elo. For normals, we could keep the early s6 system, as long as the old team builder would return too.

It's funny that you'll never see a plat+ player say "if you can't play every role you don't deserve your rank". I don't like to dismiss opinions based on rank, but, dude. You're bronze 3 and you yourself only ever play fighters in ranked, and only play top and jungle. If you practiced what you preached you'd be rather high up and have a solid 20% playrate in each role. We play the same thing, but I play it better because I have a better understanding of my champions and a better understanding of the game. That is why I'm at the rank I'm at, and climbing.

This game supports different playstyles, and plenty of high-rank players are one trick ponies that completely master a single champion and climb up the ranks like that. This game is not about "play every role perfectly and do everything", otherwise there wouldn't even have ever been an option to pick your role. If this game was about being able to play every role and any champion, the game would be ARAM. That's it. Literally just ARAM.
