Garen Updated Ideas

Garen is out dated. My ideas on making Garen newer and better while keeping the core of his kit. I hope this sparks ideas for a developer. Any numbers are just fillers, change as needed.

Passive: _Battle Awareness 0-100

Damaging enemies slowly builds battle awareness. Every 10 points of battle awareness raises his armor and defense by (1,2,3), while raising tenacity (1%,2%,3%). Hitting multiple enemies raises it faster. It will slowly decrease out of combat._

Basically shifting his W to his passive. The numbers can change but a cool new mechanic that makes him tankier the longer he fights. Like any good soldier, he adjust his tactics based upon the battle.

Q: _Break Their Ranks

Garen dashes forward (skillshot) with his shoulder, silencing the first enemy hit and receiving 10 Battle Awareness. Knocks minions and lesser monsters aside. _ Simple gap closer. Making it a skill shot allows it to scale better with AD and gives him outplay potential.

W: _Decisive Strike

Garen makes a large leaping attacking that deals bonus damage and healing himself for a small portion of damage dealt.Grants Battle Awareness._

Want to have OP sustain in lane? Still there, now you have to actually deal damage to raise your moral to fight. Not a free stat. Resets your AA.

E: _Judgement

_Garen spins rapidly slowing the closest enemy to him with each rotation. The slow stacks. Recasting this ability will cancel it. Slows his movement speed.Grants Battle Awareness if hitting champions. _

A simply slow. Good for laning, helps peel a little in team fights. Helps the team with AoE slow depending on how Garen moves. Slows him down to do it, keeps it balanced so he can't speed through a whole team and throw out like a 5% slow on everyone.

R: _Demacian Justice

Execute ability that deals damage based on champion's missing health. Instantly maxes out Battle Awareness if it kills. Any allied champions close to Garen receive 50% of the bonus stats from Battle Awareness._

Same deal as it is now. Only difference is that it's a bit more team oriented by giving a small buff to very nearby allies. At like 18 I'm thinking like 15 MR and Armor (Garen would have 30). Helps the front line a tad and makes him feel like the battle field commander he's suppose to be. Shoring up allies' weakness and pushing them towards victory.

Anyways pretty simple. Still not overly complex, beginner friendly. Makes him a bit more dynamic with good depth. Keeps every aspect of his kit but his movement speed buff from Q. Which is replaced by a skill shot dash. I think that's more than fair. He's a front line sustaining soldier. The idea here is to enhance that idea.

The longer he's on the front lines for his team, the more skilled at reading the fight he becomes. He can flank the back line to silence and build up stats to survive a risky attack.

Just my thoughts and I hope others like them.

Garen was beast, please make him beast once more.
