what if surfer singed could ride nami's tidal wave?

Ahristocats3 votes

snowday singed too

ModKnightsKemplar5 votes

I never knew I could want a snow-themed nami that launches an avalanche with R. Never would have thought of that unprompted.

What if singed could ride his poison :D!

UnboundHades20 votes

so yasuos wind wall would just kill you too

Dr Poro8 votes

Would be funny if the windwall would just delete the champion that was thrown in by Kalista ult. This must have happened at some point during playtesting right?

DeadUnborn3 votes

it did, the champion would get deleted. Shaco using his Q past yasuo windwall also erased him

Khadaver5 votes

Thought that shaco's experimental ult deleted him on wind wall

Dr Poro1 votes

Well that's just great news. Now make it so that Yasuo erases himself when he dashes through it and we'll all live happily ever after.

TheMoralSupport1 votes

A perfect reason to add an animation where Nami faceplants off of her ult disappearing, that would be amazing lmao

No. Just no.

Will Yasuo Wind Wall to delete Nami as well then?

i mean it does give double the movement speed from passive if you get hit by it...So you can use it as an "escape".

Deep Terror Nami8 votes

That's what made me think of this. I tried getting max speed on her, and she can barely keep up with the wave and the speed buff doesn't refresh when you do stick with it. I think at least a constant refresh of the speed buff would be reasonable if you stay with the wave (that doesn't sound nearly as cool as riding it over walls though, the post is to make people think more than actually convince Riot of making changes).

Well you have to remember your team get affected by the move speed too, so if you make it constantly refreshes your speed in the wave that would be very OP. If it's only herself then...I dunno.

The range on the wave is pretty good but it's not as far as Taliya's wall. It's also pretty fast so riding it would feel pretty clunky.

Nami is balanced as she is, i don't think she really need anymore changes.

Deep Terror Nami2 votes

Doesn't have to affect everyone, and no I don't think she needs changes, I know she's balanced. I'd like to be able to discuss ideas even if they aren't feasible or necessary at the time.

I am in favor of this just so I can play sivir, nami, kled games where the whole team runs at the speed of light.

SpecterVonBaren7 votes

Why would anyone playing Nami WANT to get right on top of the enemy team?

Big Lincoln9 votes

he hasn't seen the light of bruiser nami haha

Nami item 3022 item 3085 surf's up

SanKakU2 votes

Maybe there's a big chase going on and she's feeling left out.

Champion Skin1 votes

Well you could also use it as an escape as it does go over terrain

Same thing could also work on Jinx (may or may not be biased as a Jinx main).

Could be cool, though. Would they have to add a new animation for it, though, or would it just stick her in the wave?

We don't want another villager in smash.

TheMoralSupport1 votes

OMG! Imagine if, when you've got your passive boost and fired your ult, you would automatically hop on to it. It fits with the "excitement" theme as well with an impulsive decision.. Why do I want this so bad, I don't even play Jinx lol

midnight oil241 votes

That would be pretty fun.

Misread this as Jhin and was questioning how that was supposed to work.

then they would have to cut the damage and slow affect in half

Build full AP for some nuclear fishion.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo2 votes

and what if gragas could walk a straight line after taking a drink from his barrel for bonus damage

LordGeovanni2 votes

thats basicly what her passive does right.

Fairyfleur1 votes

Not really, after you fire it you can't keep up with the wave even with the ms boost.

LordGeovanni1 votes

true true off of just ult but not compeltely true with the you can with boots an item 3113 and casting spells you can keep up with the wave for 70% of its cast

Fairyfleur1 votes

Q has a cast time, which only leaves E and W.

LordGeovanni1 votes

they all have cast time but the speed buff is faster than the wave moves so the small buffer doesnt matter also i didnt even factor in the q

Fairyfleur1 votes

E doesn't, and the W cast time is very small.

FantasySniper2 votes

This could be a cool change to separate Nami from the other enchanters' peeling ults.

######But obviously this would require nerfing its damage or something else in her kit.

Can you do your job and remove M&G and GD shitposts from the front page of the League of Legends forum, thanks

Let's be honest. Using it as an escape tool wouldn't work after the opponents buy boots. Kappa

Champion Skin1 votes

Well it would work if Nami used it to get over terrain.... though of course damage would stop Nami just like it does with Taliyah (I would assume)

Rozzeta1 votes

I support this idea, if only to see all the Namis misclick and end up in the middle of the enemy team, getting killed in seconds.

What if all her allies could surf her wave instead. It could be a pretty verstatile move that knocks up enemies and slows them down (it's not the most oppressive knock up/slow combo anyway) and if her allies are washed by the wave they can click it to surf it based on the direction its going.
