Leblanc is gonna have a field day.

The changes to the game since LB has been away will cause it to favor her immensely.

Runes and Item changes are also big, but I'll just focus on the new champions.

The following champions were released after Leblanc's rework. Camille Xayah Rakan Kayn Ornn Zoe Kaisa The following champions have received reworks since Leblanc's rework Warwick Galio Maokai Sejuani Zac Urgot XinZhao Swain

Out of these champions, I can't see many faces that would actually do well against the new LB. Xayah Rakan Kayn (SA)Zoe Kaisa Swain will all get blown up by a single rotation. Camille Kayn (Rhaast) XinZhao Urgot will get blown up slightly less quickly, but will die nonetheless. Warwick will be mincemeat in the early game, since he is really damn squishy until he gets items. Ornn Zacwon't die to her, but won't be able to get her killed. Sejuani Galio Maokai are the only new faces I can confidently say will be able to deal with her.

So many champions who have never known the terror of the Q-R double tap instagib.

So much fresh meat.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Swain does, and will continue to, fuck LeBlanc up.

Late game? Absolutely.

Thing is, this version of Leblanc is notorious for snowballing the early game.

With Swain's short range, Leblanc will usually be able to either zone him out of farm or get a solo kill in early laning, which sets back his scaling.

I don't think you play the match up, Swain is never bullied by LeBlanc after level 2 (unless he severely fucks up). There is a reason LeBlanc is one of Swain's best match ups.

Against the current LB, yeah he's great.

LB takes too long to do her damage, and can't W Swain without taking a shotgun to the face.

Reverted LB is a different story.

Currently, a level 3 LB with a Dorans Ring (not including runes) deals 42 damage from her passive, 63 from her Q, 43 from W, and 95 from E. 243 total damage from one full rotation, over the course of 1.5 seconds.

With the revert, her Q deals 122 damage, her W deals 94, and her E deals 134. 350 damage, a 44% increase in your damage potential. Combine that with ignite (also being buffed next patch) and electrocute and you have a very scary lane bully.

Hell, that's not even getting into her ult... q-r is a scary amount of damage.

She also takes minion aggro in fights, has a severe wave clear disadvantage, and has an effective range disadvantage. If LeBlanc waits for e to proc Swain can almost guarantee a W hit which gives an almost guaranteed e hit. Let's look at the realistic trade

LeBlanc deals 350 damage as you mentioned

Swain deals 104 (Q), 100 (W), 70 (E), 30 (P), and heals for ~53 hp. That is 304 damage + 53 hp total without a doran's ring. Mix in the 2-3 caster minion autos LB will take (15 per auto from 3 casters) and that is an additional 90-135 damage. LB just never wins this trade.

Hell, that's not even getting into her ult... q-r is a scary amount of damage.

If LeBlanc ever jumps at Swain and uses ult q Swain will kill her unless she is under tower. Just wait for her to go back on distortion and press e (you out range her w heavily), if it lands you just pull LB into w and r. She has no w or r so she will just flash or die every time.

i really don't know why they are reverting Leblanc of all champs... her rework, alongside Khazix, were the ONLY two successful reworks in the assassin update.

What?

Out of the major reworks, Talon Katarina were amazing, while Leblanc Rengar were made more clunky.

As for the minor reworks, Ekko was successful in stopping him from building tank, Khazix was indeed cool, Akali was given more room to express skill (if only as a band-aid before a larger rework), and Fizz was made slightly less cancerous.. Shaco Zed were wholly mediocre.

when i am talking about a rework being successful i am talking about the rework succeeding in doing what the rework was designed to do. which was to give the champion more counterplay

the lb rework succeeded in giving lb MUCH more counterplay.

the kat rework made it much WORSE for players to deal with her. i would LOVE for kat to be reverted. kat was simple to deal with. now with how mnay times she gets a free shunpo its damn near impossible to hit her with anything except auto attacks unless she walks into it.

talon also made him MORE of a pain to deal with rather than giving him more "counterplay"

infact Katarina and Talon were the absolutely WORST in that regard as they were flat out massive buffs to the champions. that make them even more of a nightmare to deal with.

camille? really?

She ain't tanky. She doesn't typically get a real defensive item until she's already bought a item 3078 + item 3074.

She might last a little while with her passive, or maybe she does a sick outplay by timing her R's i-frame, but she can't tank a whole lot of damage.

I don't what see why more than half of these champions would ever want to fight LB, they have much better things to be doing.

Also squishies getting blown up by an assassin being seen as strange, how far we've come.

They reverted the rework (or revert to old lb if you want to call it that). Shes back to being the way she was before.
