We really need a ward slot.

We desperately need a ward slot. I dealt with it in Season 6, but it's getting to me now. As a support main, I barely get to have item diversity. Supports generally HAVE to buy the following:

1 Slot: Boots 2 Slot: Sightstone 3 Slot: Gold Gen Item 4 Slot: Control Ward 5 Slot: Item 6 Slot: Item

Supports only get a real choice on TWO items slots! Three if you combine your gold gen item and sightstone, but NO other class/role has to worry about this. NO other class gives up an entire item slot for just wards. Even when a jungler gives up a slot for wards, it's for sightstone. Full build on supports, unfortunately, includes control wards. This again puts vision denial primarily on the supports head. If Riot really wants EVERYONE to participate in the vision game, we either need a ward slot or some other solution to having wards take an item slot, because I really don't want to sacrifice an entire item slot just for vision.

This post confuses me. There is a ward slot. It's called your sightstone. And I don't think I know anyone who saves a slot for a control ward the full duration of the game. Generally switching to sweeper after sightstone and then upgrading as soon as you hit level 9 give you more than enough vision denial. And of course you probably buy a control ward when you have a free slot available but do we need a "ward slot"? I don't think so.

i think that they should make maby 1 extra charge on the normal ward in slot 4 and if u choose to change it to say oracles at lv 9 add 1 extra useage like how there are 2 cd for the normal ward that way we can choose not 2 buy the extra and the rest of the team wiill have 1 extra ward 2 fill in that missing wards u dont have from sightstone ect ect.

but adding another slot also poses the problem of having 2 add another key stroke but i do see what your saying making like a box by 4 where if u buy the new ward it will force it there like the 4 slot for normal wards it would be nice.
