So not all champions build crit, so crit animations on many champions never get to be shown. A while back, someone suggested that ravenous hydra should proc crit animations, but that would still leave a lot of champions without ways to see their crit animations.
What if sheen items proc'ed crit animations? That way you could see even some mage's crit animations, and tanks that build iceborn gantlet.
I remember a long time ago, someone suggested the same thing for lich bane since some mages have crit animations. A rioter did say he liked the idea and would pass it on, but I have no idea if it went through or not.
Ii is a good idea though. Feels like some of that work to give some champions crit attacks just goes to waste.

A crit is when an attack does more damage than usual, Sheen causes your basic attack after you cast a spell to deal more damage than usual. Makes enough sense to me.
The only practical problem that 'may' arise from this is if someone begins the crit animation and when the basic attack registers the proc has expired, because, in theory, that would display the crit animation but the attack would deal regular damage. This is something that I believe the normal crit stat doesn't run the risk of, and thus would be the only inconsistency with this animation.
Granted, it's simply a matter of of a minor animation mismatch and wouldn't be seen that much, I still upvoted the idea and love it.
All mages with crit animations shall be played as an adc. So it is said so it shall be.
