Change Tower Hitbox

Don't know about you guys, but I absolutely hate autoing the tower when I mean to auto the enemy.

But what can I do when the tower hitbox is so large it's almost impossible to auto a champion that stands behind it?

I propose changing the tower hitbox. My change allows you to auto attack behind the tower, and reduce the tower hitbox to only the tower base.

The tower hitbox would be the tower base, aka the gray ring in the image. Now evil red champion can be auto attacked, without having to awkwardly click a tiny exposed hitbox sticking out behind the tower.

no, you are asking for too much. just change the way you play.

There's a 'target champions only' button you can bind. It will make your cursor only target enemy champions. I have mine binded to space

You can also just move your camera up to change the camera angel so you can click them...

People with locked cameras (I personally don't) would have issues with that. Plus in a dive, you might not have enough time to move the camera.

moving camera for-ward or back-ward wouldn't help in this case, but rotational turn would help, which isn't implemented.

If you move your camera top left then you can see behind the turret...

You can use the target champions only key in this situation, by default it's the ~ key, but it may be better to rebind it to something closer

Perfectly viable, but I just think it would make more sense just to change the hitboxes a bit. Good temporary solution though.

When i am in this situation i use attack-move and click in an area where the mouse is closer to the champion than it is the the tower. Attack move prioritizes the unit closest to the mouse click.

I hate when tower hits you when you're visually out their attack range. For example when ganking mid from front of enemy tower(from behind wall next to river at blue side). Dumb tower smacks you when you aren't even it's attack radius...
