Being called a scripter when you have a great game. Thoughts?
So I'm a Mastery level 7 Morgana, with decent win rate and sample size and I played a game last night, well I played multiples and my total kdas in each games were 6/0 9/0 and 19/1 and 17/6 and 8/4 and 15/11. Now as you can see my games range all over the place depending on multiple circumstances . In my 17/6 game I was accused of scripting by the entire enemy team, honestly most would maybe feel offended by it, but I think of it more of a compliment. I won't give specific names although you're allowed to check my history. One of them accused me because he said he writes scripts and can tell and I'm thinking to myself "You must be terrible at your job if you think I'm scripting."
Another player accused me in same game when I flash dodged an Alistair dive pulverize which is not hard to do if you're looking for it and then a player tells me that his roommate is Diamond and even agrees I'm scripting. I'm thinking if your roommate is diamond and thinks my 17/6 score is scripting then he must of stopped playing a long time ago, because 6 deaths is quite a few in competitive play. In my opinion anyways and a true diamond player would probably shred the crap out of me 95% of the time.
The next player accuses me of cheating because I'm very good with my bindings, I would say I typically have a 70%+ accuracy on my bindings and I always guestimate my target, I never shoot where they are unless I suspect they're just that bad. But they accuse me of cheating saying I'm not even good, I'm just cheating and he has played against way better players who are playing fair, he is currently 0/5 and I'm 5/0 in lane and I ask him, "If that's true, how quickly did you lose that game?"
Honestly most of my games I have my hand on the shield button, I know exactly what other champs do and I react to the character animation not the actual ability, which does typically allow me to shield quickly. Also one of them said Trump 2016 at some point which made a lot more sense after seeing their behavior.
My question is, have you ever been accused of it and if so are you insulted or flattered. I'm flattered at first but it starts becoming annoying after awhile, especially when you miss skill shots.
I get accused of scripting because my Q's almost always hit.
The thing is that most people don't realize that
A: The majority of people in this game dodge that specific skillshot the exact same way 80% of the time
B: If I've spent the last 15 minutes in a lane with all my attention focused on you as my opponent, I learn how you move and where you dodge.
(who I main), in terms of landing Q skillshots. They are kinda difficult to land, but one of my best skill in League is landing skillshots, so I land them very often. I'd say that if you know that you are good, and not using scripts, it's probably just them being salty.
, so it comes up from time to time.
