Furthermore, the ones that are hard to counter are hard to counter for a reason--they go invisible, untargetable and have tons of mobility.

In lower competitive stages, in so called 'solo queue', yeah, there's virtually no proper strategy. There can't be when you can't properly communicate with your team and don't know their strengths and weaknesses.
_If you want strategy, go play 5's or 3's or watch esports. That's it. _
