While I do care for rank, I have to avoid ranked most of the time, because if I try and take it seriously, but mess up, and I give first blood by accident, not only am I a little tilted from my mistake but I get flamed the shit out of by people who act like they're CHALLENJOUR and we're holding them back from their true potential.
People being toxic and making Ranked, while it is suppose to be serious, a really fucking awful experience, is not what I play ranked for. I know I'm not the best; if I was I'd be Diamond+ and applying to eSports teams. But seriously, people need to get over the fact that people make mistakes, because in the end you make people not wanna fucking take ranked seriously or in my case, rarely play it at all, cause of your nasty attitude.
I know people who tend to not try in ranked because they know they'll never satisfy their teammates (lower elo, anyway,) and while I say don't play ranked if you aren't gonna be serious, I can sorta see where they're coming from.
