I love Cloud Drake

I think it's almost my favourite dragon. If you get 2, that's amazing. Infernal is good, obviously better late game (great if you can get elder drake later too!), but personally IDC about the ocean drake at all. Shout casters had it hyped up to me but in experience I'm finding air drake is the handiest. I don't know why other people don't like it more.

I play mid/jungle only, and that's a lot of roaming, air drake helps out a shit ton with that stuff.

the reason cloud drake is nice is that people are less likeley to contest it, and the buff is nice

Cloud drake will always be the worst one due to diminshing returns on movement speed. If you have tier 2 boots and 3 cloud drakes you might as well only have 2 and thats assuming you don't build zeal items have 340+ movement speed and don't build anything with an aether whisp in it or in general gives bonus movement speed. Also cloud drake only helps with ganking if you don't farm before going to the gank. Otherwise it has no impact on that due to the fact that from wolves to top mid or bot would only lead to it being up for like 2 seconds before you got there since it takes a while for out of combat status to fall off. Make farming with it fine and it would be just as strong as ocean drake.

The problem with cloud drake is that, unless you're roaming, it's effectively useless. It's only non-combat movement; so while the other drakes give direct damage, sustain, or objective control, the air drake's effect is more or less... useless? come later game where you're constantly poking or dancing around for a teamfight- or even farming.

Spicy and Rack-Salid Drakes effects are always in effect Refreshing drake only when avoiding champs/towers Vroom Drake is only ONLY active when nobody is hitting you and you're hitting nobody.

In essence, it has the lowest "uptime" and smallest noticeable effect, that's why people generally ignore it; it's underwhelming.

oh, and as for the Refreshing drake, the restoration is... well it's goddamn fantastic. Throw skills till you're about at 1/3rd mana, then simply cast them when you have excess mana, it restores it fast enough that you, effectively can act as if you don't have mana on some champions. Really nice for lane sustain to about half-HP as well if you take some poke yourself.

it helps you get to a place a whole two seconds faster, wow.
