Zed and Blitz hooks

I was playing a game and watched as our allied zed threw down a shadow, warped, but the moment before he warped, blitz's hook got him. Zed still went though with his shadow swap, but got stunned afterwards, but didn't get pulled. What is this?

I believe that Blink type spells, and some dash spells(such as trist w) can cancel blitz hook even if they're already grabbed.

Ezreal E is the biggest offender of this.

Okay so most displacements if I recall have a built in "stun" feature - certain abilities can cleanse the stun part of the knock up, so while you can't override the knock up/back (only another knock up/back can override one another), you can start activating abilities while still in the air.

It leads to funny situations like one shotting Yasuo with Critplank mid-Yasuo-ult.

As to the op, most likely case is the teleport overrode Blitz's hook, but the stun feature still kicked in.

it's part of cast times, it's a built in feature that some champions can take advantage of easier than others. The fact that zed managed to get pulled during the cast time of his switch is pure chance because the cast time is ridiculously small.
