Can the Garen rework be given the Kayn treatment?
After having your passive turned off for X second, get Y amounts of stacks. After reaching a certain point, recall to base to upgrade to Assassin Garen or Vanguard Garen. You get more stacks toward Vanguard when a ranged attack turns your passive off.
This fits his theme as both the vanguard and the man that fearlessly rescued J4 by cutting through Urgot. Prior to the upgrade, Garen is exactly the same as on live. Vanguard Garen is still new player friendly.
Assassin: Nerfs to his base stats to get him into line with other assassin champions. All his abilities scale with bonus AD.
Passive: No longer regenerates his HP. Garen now deals 10% bonus damage to targets upon exiting the brush in the last 1.5 seconds. This damage increase begins upon entering combat with champions and ends upon leaving combat.
Q: No longer silences his target. No longer removes slows. Increases his auto attack range by 250 (same effect as rapid fire cannon and stacks with rapid fire cannon). Landing Q on your target brings Garen into melee range of his target. Since it does not silence, increase the animation speed. 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+ 120% bonus AD) physical damage.
W: Loses the stacking armor and magic resistance. Also loses damage reduction. Activate W to go back to where you were prior to landing your Q. Must be used within 3 seconds of using Q. If you use flash within 0.75 seconds prior to using Q, it takes you back to where you were pre-flash. [If you flash after you Q, then it will still take you back to where you were pre Q]. Removes slows and snares upon activation.
E: Garen spins around 3 times, similar to Renekton's Q. Landing all 3 spins lowers the armor of his target by 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25%. This ability can critically strike, dealing 100% × (0.5 + bonus critical strike damage) of the damage as bonus damage. No longer deals 33% increased damage to isolated targets. 55 / 75 / 95 / 115 / 135 (+ 65% bonus AD) per spin.
R: Villain passive is gone. Deals physical damage instead. Does not scale with target's missing HP. The sword still drops but deals 200 / 400 / 600 (+ 100% bonus AD). Upon executing his target, all his abilities' ratios increase by 1%.
Vanguard: Passive: Same as live. Furthermore, Garen's basic attacks deal 80% magic damage instead. Q: Silence scales from 1.5 / 1.62 / 1.75 / 1.87 / 2.0 seconds. Deals 80% of its damage as magic damage instead. W: Damage reduction and tenacity window increases from 0.75 to 1.0 second instead. Everything else is the same. E: 4 spin ticks now reduce the targets magic resistance by 25%. 80% of the damage is dealt as magic damage instead. This means that Cleaver will still work on his spin. R: Villain passive for basic attacks and spin now deal 1% of the target’s current health in magic damage instead of 1% of the target’s maximum health as true damage. If the target is the villain, your ultimate deals 175 / 350 / 525 true damage (+ 28.6 / 33.3 /40% of the target's missing health) as magic damage. Furthermore, Garen deals 2.5 / 5 / 7.5% bonus magic damage from all sources to the villain.
