I actually don't understand Riot's balance team.

With recent buffs to Fizz , Ahri , and now the massive overbuffing of LeeSin and soon Yasuo. I would actually like to hear what their reasoning is on this is. It actually makes no sense since these champs were far from weak. Why not buff some champs that are never played instead of buffing the same handful of champs all of the time?

Hey might as well throw Zed Tristana Ezreal Jhin Zoe Katarina a bone while you're at it too right?

They gave reasoning for fizz. They wanted to change his w. Ended up being a massive nerf so they wanted to buff him and the buffs were too much. Lee and yasuo are pretty obvious since it's for pro play where they almost always need the boost to be an option there.

Yasuo isn't picked in pro play.

Want to know how many picks he has across 4 and half seasons? 494.

That's number 76.

Here's the newer champions that have been picked more than him: Gnar, Tahm Kench, Azir, Jhin, Kalista, Taliyah, Rakan, Camile, Xayah, Ornn, Ekko, Kindred, Zoe, and Bard. Bard is the one with the closest amount of picks to him, and still is ahead by over 100 picks.

I don't think you get the point he was trying to make. While Yasuo historically haven't been picked much, he has been getting picked somewhat often ever since Spring Split/MSI earlier this year, which was really exciting to a lot of people. (I can still remember the Hype when Caps started playing it all of a sudden).

Riot wanting to buff him to make sure he will remain picked at Worlds is at least a somewhat reasonable assumption, in my opinion.

How can you even know if it's an overbuff? It isn't even live; there's no statistics. And I'm pretty sure the Lee change is mostly net neutral. He does less dmg to tanks and more dmg to squishy targets. (%missing HP -> % damage scaling on %missing HP)

{quoted} He does less dmg to tanks and more dmg to squishy targets.

So he does more damage to everyone then

Total of 50 base damage removed as well

Just checked, his winrate went up by 0.02%

what an overbuff [sg-lulu]

The thing is, Lee should have less than 50% wr. He's probably one of the highest(if not the highest) skill cap champs in the game. If they buff him to 50% that means he's overpowered.

Riven and Azir are definitely higher

He's still sitting right at 48%
