@GC What is Riot's "perfect league of legends"?

A while ago, GC mentioned something about giving his team some insight on an unrealistic balance philosophy, on how to reach a "perfect league of legends". I'm just curious, what exactly is Riot trying to make league look like? With the damage all over the place, how is it even possible to get there when the game is losing players and it's foundations, all catering to pro play and lack of communication with its community? Where is the start to this dream?

The game is not catering toward pro play. Riot is catering toward new players. Pro players, competitive players/veterans hate Season 8 because the game has been dumbed down. The skill-gap has been diminished due to:

  • Overloaded Runes
  • Overpowered Runes
  • Overpowered Champions
  • New Champions with overloaded kits
  • RNG elements
  • Zoe
  • Klepto
  • Plants
  • Dragons
  • Scuttle Crab

Riot's view on the game is, "More Damage = More Flashy plays = More casual players will enjoy the game"

Their "perfect version" of League is catering toward the casual players by increasing the damage and reducing the skill-gap. By reducing the skill-gap, less skilled players are able to equally play against higher skilled players.
