After almost 9 years of playing, this season proves how badly this company has lost their minds. From hypocritical choices, absolutely garbage communication, and the amount of time it takes to reach a solution, is mind boggling. I'm convinced Riot has abandoned their previous balance methods, all for the sake of pro play, which explains why their viewers have been leaving.

I have had enough of this company not caring about the slightest in balance or even just coming out of the closet to express their QUESTIONABLE choices.

What good is a game, where it's main communication source (these forums) is less prioritized than outside sources (reddit etc..)?

This company has been dumbing their game down further and further, without even so much as addressing one, if not, the main problem. DAMAGE.

Then again none of this is surprising, since Morello is no longer in lead.

Even pro's despise the meta and frequently talk about how bad it is streamers are quitting, before quitting league seemed like a meme that nobody ever did, but now the vast majority of my friends don't play anymore. I'm holding out to see next season but that's it if next season isn't fixing many of these major problems I think I'll be dropping the game forever.my suggestion is If you are done with league, then take a break and at least try next season before quitting for good.

I'm with you, this game is complete bullshit since this "balance team" took over, it's turned into complete shit since like 3 years ago. Ironically that's exactly when tencent games took it over. Coincidence? I think not.

In the same boat. I haven't played the game in days and I don't intend to come back. Between their promises, lies, and horrible choices it's to the point where why should we play anymore? So many promises and stubbornness to admit they are wrong and actually fix things, as opposed to waiting for worlds to be over, to make the the game decent again. They just buffed Yasuo on the PBE after saying he needed nerfs and they think buffing tanks is the way to goo. No it is not. Nerfing the power creep and minion blocking would have been the answer to all of their problems. They just don't get it.

Let's also add in the fact that if your champion is not popular and gets attention yearly, it will take them 5 years to actually work on them and not even do good on it. Who cares anymore. Riot Games are all a bunch of lying imbeciles at this point.

I wish I could also obtain a way to obtain time travel and move back to s4, which, imo, was the best season. It also means I can go back to high school and re-do college. Ah, the dream...

How does one decides to quit? At one point I didn't play for a month but never said I quit. Why should you quit? It's not an addiction after all. Just don't play so often do other things and so on. It's sounds to me as "Here I have been drinking for 9 years but now I will stop because the beer they are selling me makes me do crazy things. Not that I make the choice everyday to drink like a galon of it or anything, no". It doesn't seem right at this sense right?

I 100% agree with you. They have reworked all the champions that I liked, removed all the items that I liked, this game is no longer fun for me. I will play League of Memories once it is fully playeable.

Im like you. Been playing Since S2. Been very active on the forums. For the last year when I post its mostly negative things because the game has been going down hill.

The game balance ITSELF breeds toxicity.

I find myself looking at other games more and more but have stayed in the hope that Riot will fire the crap that is running the show and bring back the old teams. Im 99% sure that wont happen and I will finally move on if not to a MOBA to something else (not PubG/Fortnite)

I keep trying to give Tencent (Riot) another chance but: the sexist take on women in the new 'art', the perma imbalance, bugg and pathing issues, unclear things like the new client or honor, the patch notes not being the same for every language, the lying about design choices.. Ever since Tencent bought out riot's majority stock ~ 2013 its been them building stuff I hate, (riven was the 1st thing they did, the skanky women in torn clothes with no costs and tonz of skinz with OP dmg to make it popular...) its been smothering the good game made by the original developers. I guess just check in and see if it ever gets any better, though these days they take like 3 years to address a single bug.

Oh, and no 4th of July events? FK YOU TENCENT AND UR LUNAR BS. #madeincalifornia

P.S. Ghoscrawler is the herald of some company coming to buyout and mismanage your game. I watched him say nice things about bad design all over the World of Warcraft forums until it was unfixable as well. Now its just new copy pasted content meant to make you want some BS collectible crap for money... I hope they don't sue all the other MOBAs on the market.....

I, too, quit. Last game was 1-31-2018. It has been fantastic.

I still come back here to see what "new" stuff is happening once a month, and noticed your post.

Anyway, ignore the addicts. UNINSTALL right away. Remove your favorites. Go out with friends Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Then poof, Monday rolls around and you don't even have a thought about this pile of wet shit.

To the addicts... I pity you and your failure.

I believe they aren't even thinking to nerf damage anyway. If you look at A sol his DPS mage style was changed to burst to fit this meta. Riot actually believes in this damage meta. I don't wanna be too salty about it cuz theres some rioters that seem to care about the community like i think his name was Bazerka who gets on the boards from time to time and doesn't speak like a robot. But i don't think damage will be nerfed even if we ask for it. Balance team please.....

People should have seen this coming with the revamp of the 3v3 map, removal of Dominion and the lore changes, despite the large amount of protests to not make and/or revert said changes.

Most people just shrugged those things off, when they should have seen those changes as a sign of things to come.

Today's Riot is the same from 5-6 years ago in my eyes, it's just that their bad decisions have finally piled up and they're finally getting the backlash they should have received long ago from the playerbase/community.
