So, Expose Weakness is back!

Greetings,

Shocking thing, I'd actually like to take a moment to talk gameplay on the gameplay section. I loved expose weakness in previous seasons especially on supports.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has tried and tested it? The new one may not work in the same way as it's difficult to tell. For example, I'm not sure if any damage activates it, or just spell damage, and I'm assuming allies only means boosts for your team mates, but no extra damage for you.

They kept it at the same percentage as double edged sword which may stop expose weakness from being used as much. If for no other reason simply because if you can have an extra 3% dmg on your melee champs all the time or 3% for only your allies probably going to take that double edged sword every time.

Going to love expose weakness on tanks though.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning on trying it in a Shen build. I used it on Shen in an ARAM, and it seemed decent, when I could taunt people, since allies would collapse. Wanna try it in a real game. And Shen just seems like a perfect fit for it.

Aggressive junglers seem like a good match too, now that I think about it. Maybe I'll try it in a Rek'Sai build.

3% for your entire team except you, that's 3*4 = 12% extra damage if all your team is focusing that champion. It's a tiny tad better than double-edged.

So, here is a question. Can it be applied multiple times by each member of your team or is the duration simply refreshed?

I'm guessing refreshed because if it stacked the team wide bonus in team fights would be amazing. It also doesn't state the duration. It would be really powerful if it has like a 5 second duration, but if it has to be reapplied every 1 second maybe not as much unless you have an easy way to reapply it.

No, it is only refreshed, it doesn't stack. Think about it like applying a wound that will close in 3 seconds. But if each of your team deals 3% extra damage, that stacks up to 12% if everyone is hitting them.

Ah ok thanks! Makes sense. I have to agree with you that does sound really good. I could see it being really awesome on like Rammus or Zac where you can AOE apply it to the entire enemy team. At least I hope AOE's apply it lol. Have to start testing it out today.

It does! As specified in the mastery. "Damaging enemy champions causes them to take 3% more damage from your allies". So any damage applies ^_^
