I'm excited as f*ck.
Back in the days of Morello balancing, I despised with all my soul their balancing mindset. Every champion was weak and didn't feel like a potent force in the game, and 10 more or 10 less cs on the adc could win or lose a game.
When Morello once said:
I'd rather have a champion be weak to the point of uselessness than have them be too strong.
And when asked if they would ever "buff everything and hope for the best, like DotA", he pretty much said:
That kind of power level will only happen in League over my dead body.
My heart honestly sank. Half-weak champions with cowardly-designed kits was all we were gonna get, after all. Great potential in ideas, all of it wasted because the designers were too afraid of making new and strong additions, both mechanically and visually.
However that started slowly changing with Rek'Sai, Kalista and Bard, and I started realizing League is changing direction, and I was _certain _ of it when Ekko was released and his burst remains un-nerfed to this day. They balanced out the unnecesarily strong parts of him, but they didn't give in and nerf his niche (CC, mobility and delayed burst) like they would have done in earlier Seasons.
Right then, my trust to the game was restored. And later when I saw the Fiora rework I smiled, because it was _exactly _ what she should be, and after that we got the Juggernaut update and I was like:
#"Yep, they finally know what they're doing. Rito finally knows what they want with their game, and it's the right thing after all." :')
Each champion should be OP in their own way, so everyone will excel at something slightly different.
Right now I'm just waiting for 3 reworks: Talon (announced), Irelia (idk if they're planning to fix her, she can be so much more) and, most of all, Yasuo.
