They should just nerf shields. Someone on here made the great suggestion of shields not stacking and only the strongest shield being active (similar to how cc works).

Adding an anti-shield item is just a bandaid solution, because they don't want to tackle the problem at its core. Adding such a gimmicky item is going to cause massive balancing issues further down the road. The fix should be simple, this item is just going to bring more game mechanics for only a small aspect of the game. Eventually they'll just overload the game with such small mechanics.
