The fact that she is picked so often and has such a good winrate indicates that something is wrong, severely.

Dont understand why people are surprised Cait is good.
- New CoC mastery allows divers and tanks to initiate without a single fuck given
- Nerf to armor pen items reduced early-mid game strength
- Tanks coming back ( Ex Poppy and Naut are more popular now ) void adcs early game
- Power creep up the ass lets anyone do major damage
- Supports able to solo adcs in bot lane
You cant get mad Caitlyn is popular. Shes a safe pick to counter this garbage ass meta where adcs are actually extremely sub-par before 30 minutes.
If you want to nerf Cait that is fine.
But then you also gotta nerf these champions
Vi 54% win rate 16% play rate
Janna 54% win rate 15% play rate
Ahri 54% win rate 13% play rate
Hecarim 53% win rate 12% play rate
Blitzcrank 53% win rate 12% play rate
And you gotta remember... There are literally only 4 viable adcs right now out of like generaly 11.. So her play rate being that high actually doesnt mean shit..
Its not that shes broken, its just the meta shifting as usual.

52% seems pretty normal to me, a bit on the stronger side but nothing game breaking. Who cares if she has high pickrate, cait is one of the easiest ADC to play, 52% winratr is nothing special, not every champ can have 50% winratr and 1% playrate

As an adc main,,, shes the only counter vs vayne pretty much, and since like every game there is a vayne, you are forced to pick cait.
yeah something is wrong alright, the fact that you pretty much are unable to pick any hyper carry ADC or any ADC that isn't safe due to the constant 4~5 man ganks that happen in bot lane pretty much pushes safe laning ADCS to be picked more often and have a better winrate overall. Cait is known for being one of the safest ADCs early game so people are just going to go towards her. You nerf her and people will just migrate to the next safest ADC and have him have a decent pickrate and good winrate. Until we actually do something about the bot lane situation nothing will be solved and we will just be cycling through the same few safe ADCs until they are completely and utterly worthless
