Why does Doran Blade gets to stack, but Doran Shield doesn't?

Pretty much one of many reasons why people tend to not take (on mana champs I mean) and chooses over it. Doran Blade should get the same justice as Doran Shield does, and so, I propose that Doran Blade's lifesteal stats to be Unique Passive.

Yay or nay?

To any curious jerks who left to see my Match History for the story of this thread, yep I got rekt by a Rengar with 3 Doran Blade stuck onto it. But my main point wasn't really about that match, I take most of the blame for that loss due to Rengar's multiple roams & the absence of my team's map & ping awareness, it's just that I was reminded why this blade doesn't get the same treatment as Shield does.

Doran's Blade simply isn't as beneficial as Shield. The passive defense is a little too good to be able to stack.

Shield loses it's effectiveness as the game goes on due to how the reduction is factored along side defensive stats, where as blade gets to remain effective until it is sold. Flask or Cloth+5 is also better in many cases over Shield. People have even started with a Ruby Crystal over shield.

Doesn't really matter to me as long as both gets the same treatment.

If they stacked, they would be multiplicatively better with each additional one. Doran's blade has the opposite of this problem -- compared to a real Vamp Scepter, doran's blades kind of fall off, while blocking 24 flat auto attack damage is pretty powerful even into the midgame.

seems dorans shield gets out classed by the cloth 5 start or flask 3 pot start so it needs dome kind of buff

The fact you lost to a 3 dorans blade rengar is already a problem in it own self. But either than that, yes I do agree Doran shield needs a nerf

Ahh oops, BUFF IT NEEDS A SMALL BUFF. Something to differentiate cloth+5, make it better against mages or lower the cost

For a lot of champions Doran's shield is the strongest hp regen item in the game at earlier levels.

Says a guy who made loads of speeches about people shouldn't be crybabies & learn to counter, and then makes a thread of being a crybaby himself by getting beaten by a Morde instead of learning to counter him.

Fun fact is that you actually deleted your original Mordekaiser QQ thread & made a new one just to escape the embarrassing irony I posted in it, wasn't it? ;)

Plus, try not to exaggerate my thread into another meaning just to "counter-argue" with me. I did list out a bunch of reasons like Doran Shield not getting the same treatment as Blade, additionally of why people prefer to take Flask more than Shield nowadays. If it's either they want Shield to have a stacking passive like Blade does, or Blade having Unique Passive like Shield does, both is fine with me. It's just that both items shouldn't differ too much, making one being popular as ADC/bruiser starting item pick while the other totally forgotten and replaced by flask.

EDIT: I dunno what's your goal with me, checking through my discussion history & then spams "counter-argument" on each and every one of them. You're doing nothing but showing out the childish arrogance of a true low elo.

You do realized that all I did is pointed out true facts about yourself, such as evidence that you indeed said "stop crying learn to counter" and the other evidence of you being "forget what I said! nerf mordekaiser", and all you did is spammed the same old "You cant counter sated so you suck" & "level of beginner bot". At least I'm complaining about an item that may have a chance to be highly used worldwide and even probably seen loads in LCS, and you're complaining about a champ that everyone has forgotten about it. Learn to face the truth kid.
