Lamb and Wolf

Already the champ is getting hate, but people are ignoring how well the abilities work together and how it all fits the theme of the champion well. Can we at least appreciate that before going on a rampage about how it's just a generic, cancerous champ with no creativity whatsoever?

Actually, Lamb and Wolf does have elements of creativity. People complain that the Q is "just" a Kalista passive, but ignore fact that (1) it has an element of shooting three arrows at three random targets, which is something new and (2) it's not as spammable so that it's on every single auto attack.

Same thing with their E. Yeah, I'm not going to deny that the 3 AA % health true damage sounds cancerous, but realize it's not a passive. It's an ability, and I doubt it's going to be something you can cast very often. It's meant to be a good ganking tool that you'll end up using once in a gank, not multiple times.

Kindred's W is pretty cool, let's be honest. It's pretty interesting concept that includes Wolf while also giving benefits of using Q while in the zone. It also works well with their E ability, since I'm assuming Wolf autos will proc it (not sure about this actually).

And then there's the ult. An "AOE Tryndamere rip off ult" as some would call it. But really, Riot has included virtually every single mechanic in the game you can think of. Having different variations of mechanics is what makes the game interesting, and this ult is actually pretty interesting, since it applies to ALL units within the area. If we're going to say it's just a generic carbon copy rip off of Tryndamere's ult then we might as well say that every single damaging ability in the game is the same because they all do damage. It sounds stupid, and that's because it is stupid.

Anyway, I thought this champion idea was cool. I know a lot of people are going to disagree, but I haven't yet seen a single positive thread for the champ and I wanted to give a different opinion. Thanks for reading.

You know what Kindred Q looks like? Kalista +item 3085

shooting three arrows

item 3085

at three random targets

Ezreal has a mobility skill which moves him to a location and fires a projectile at a (closest) target. Kindred's Q just fires 3 instead of one.

Regarldess, it's targeted. It plays pretty much like Gnar 's except you have to cast it first. It is incredibly bland and done to death, quite recently in fact.

Benefits in a zone Trundle have Fiora been Maokai done before. It's nothing new. The Q buff only makes the Kalista +item 3085 comparison even more prominent.

It's actually a mix of both Bard + Tryndamere ults. It's too similar to bard, and too close to it's release. It also feels completely out of place on this character.

I think it's a wasted opportunity to properly do a dual champion. The aesthetic design doesn't really match with the skill kit.

It barely uses the dual aspect. The wolf might as well be a particle affect and nothing more. It really doesn't feel like wolf is any more important to the character than the hawk from hawkshot is to Ashe .

It has way too many things we have already (recently) seen for it's own good.

It's not true damage. It's just % Health damage.

I have actually played Lamb and Wolf: The champion is a standardized marksman, while Wolf is active (W) your Q is a low damage, but same mobility, version of Vayne's Tumble - the damage on Q is a joke (pretty sure it applies your passive damage, which is zero until it gets going) so you use it for mobility and get basic attacks off with your actual short range (Vayne is not short range)

You have very high tank busting qualities in the late game with blade and hurricane, mainly if you can get damage on your passive, with all that % current health from the item and their actual passive

without accounting for when Wolf is active, you are a low mobility, low damage (you are a pure right click to win for your damage), but high utility marksman - with a whopping long range of ..... 500 units /sarcasm ...

The champion does burn through Mana quickly (nothing is no cost, just to clarify); especially for early/mid game, late game not so much

W - Not a point and click, like I thought it was for most of the game (i use quick cast on most spells); so Wolf just gets 'unlocked' to freely attack whoever he pleases prioritizing Lamb's main target (relevant wording for having hurricane)

E - Lamb's basic attacks ONLY trigger the effects, the 3rd attack cause Lamb to send Wolf flying to the enemy, its pretty funny

R - Bard ultimate status, can be good, bad, and mediocre; hard to judge - nothing like Tryndamere ultimate

tl;dr : the champion feels balanced and balance-able, the lovable part are the characters' personalities and simplicity in their kit; i enjoy this style of champion and most likely main them when they release officially

To be honest, i'd rather they delay the champion and rework the kit. I don't feel it plays on the duality aspect as well as it should. I can understand they want to avoid making an Elise clone, but they can easily avoid that by using some of the current kit.

And i am just here trying to figure out why Death itself (Kindred) and Order (Bard) have come to runeterra, i Expect 2 more Godly iconic Champions.

I feel like something Big is coming to the rift. and Death and Order are the first to Appear. what are the other two?
