Confused About Gains in LP

Last season I got into plat 2. This season I played my placement games in soloque and got plat 4. I've won several games since then, but each time I'm getting +12 or +14 lp, making it hard to climb. I checked my MMR on op.gg and it says that I have 1,943 or so, which is around plat 2 level. It also says that I will jump 2 divisions ... but I'm not in my series.

My question is why this is happening. I don't really understand why I'm getting such low LP gains if I am winning games and doing well in them, and my MMR is also very high. Here is my op.gg for reference:

Does this have to do with the MMR of my enemies/teammates? I'm not really annoyed or anything by this. I just want to know the reason, because it's kind of confusing. I always thought you gain more LP the higher your MMR. Is op.gg not accurate?

Op.gg lies to you, tell me I have 1780 MMR and I will likely get placed Gold 1. Got placed silver 4 feels good. I have 25lp gain though so I have no idea why you're getting such low gains. Might wanna contact support they have a live chat now which is really useful. Just contact them to find out.

Never really paid attention if it was true, but was always inclined to believe that 20-25 lp gain while 15-17 lp loss usual means you need to go higher. If you have a high mmr you gain more and lose less lp. If low MMR you gain less and lose more. Not sure if accurate though.
