Warding on ADC?

If a Support doesn't want to buy wards or ward at all in particular. Is it trolling if I buy sight stone on ADC even though I know it will put me far behind and most likely cost me lane? Most likely game as well since I know I will always be a damage item behind as well short one. Main reason I ask is if say get sight stone over half the time I just get yelled at by team and told buy your own wards. Which I am tired of this rude response as I don't mind buying pinks. I was under the assumption based on roles supports buy sight stones. I know when I play support at least; I rush gold item first upgrade to get more gold if we get early lead. If we are behind or early jungle pressure from enemy I get sight stone on support. Main point and question is it wrong/trolling for an ADC to get sight stone based of the reasoning I stated?

No. Never buy sightstone on ADC even if your support isn't. Buying sightstone as an adc is just gonna gimp your build and your team as a whole.

Yeah no sightstone, just buy a pink and keep it up/optimal and use your trinket as often as you can.

As someone who plays more support than ADC, we need more adc's like you. Ones that are not afraid of using their yellow trinket. While your support is complete crap for not doing enough, you should never have to take on the entire burden of warding.

Your support should be buying sightstone, but if they don't I would just play super cautiously and buy pink wards because you buying a sightstone will just hurt your team more overall.

Ok thanks for the tips. I honestly need to work on my passiveness then. Once I flip that kill switch I kinda tunnel vision in for the kill which bad enough alone, but with out good vision or pings it goes from tunnel vision to a grey screen real quick lol.
