Meanwhile rylai giving 400 hp and 100 AP is totally fine, hm okay.

It's a lot easier to permaslow with Mallet than Rylai's.

yes, this is true

i wonder how melees with 125-175 range are allowed to slow people, meanwhile Brand is allowed to slow everyone for 4 seconds with i don't know how many range.

Melees that need the slow are generally tanks because damage dealers usually go for burst.

you have no idea, how being tankier doesn't mean shit nowday.

Cassiopeia Viktor Akali Azir Brand Zyra Kayle Vladimir Malzahar

To name a few.

It depends on the champion.

Also, Mallet can permaslow one person. Kayle can perma slow nearly an entire team with Rylai's.

The majority of those champs are the few AP champs that can actually spam something relatively quickly enough for Rylai's proc in the first place. Applying autoattacks is a lot faster and easier and more consistent.

if its so easy let me see you do it

better yet, lets not see the immediate flash and pop instead(because the 400 hp was absoltuley worthless when the enemy ADC crit you for 2k anyway) and then a roll down mid lane thinking that rylias is a valid form of 1v1ing someone when in reality its a 5v5.

because what actually happens is you get 3hko by an adc instead of 2hko. (most mid laners average 1500~1700hp, and most ADC's crit for 850 damage) you still get melted by any 2v1, in which case the 400hp wont make a difference. making the hp nearly worthless.

in no situation where an adc is on your face will it matter. in no situation where a tank on you will 400 hp matter, as the slow gets you away or you kite him in the first place.

Sorry, what are you even talking about here? You're inventing contexts to my post that don't exist, and your writing is so jumbled and poor that I'm honestly not sure what you're trying to say.

So mages who get just a rylai's aren't tanky? Uh, all right? Also, you're ignoring that all of the champions I named except maybe Azir who is bad at the moment can kill an ADC just as easily. Many of the champions I named can even 1v1 most ADCs.

An ADC on your face? Like in a team fight? Because if the ADC is diving your back line like an assassin that seems like an easily won team fight. If it's a 1v1, lolno. The champions I named have no issues dealing with ADCs.

You still get melted by any 2v1? ... Go on? I don't recall saying that Rylai's made it so that you can easily take on two champions at once (though a Kayle definitely can, depending on the champions).

Rylai's health does in fact matter, it makes most mid laners nearly 25% tankier, and the fact that it helps you kite those tanks matters. That it also provides a substantial amount of AP is a big deal as well.

So like, what are you trying to say? That Rylai's isn't a good item? Because you'd be batshit deluded and insane to think that. It's one of the best items in the game.

you're complaining about the stat stick it offers, its stats arent that good. theres at least 7 other more offensive buys which offer more value than 100ap. and standalone health on anyone is worthless without additional armor/mr behind it, making it a terrible first item rush.

you're complaining that the slow is too much, i dont see you endlessly kiting.

rylias will not make you survive additional situations where otherwise you would die without rylias, its just a very very small buffer.

the stats are fine, the slow amount is fine, there are champion outliars which abuse the item.

everyone complaining about rylias forgets that the majority of mages have multiple items backing them before they buy it. the item isnt a rush, the stats dont make you unkillable, you did not attempt a counterbuild, and you most certainly arent being 1v1d exclusively because of the rylias where if they had literally anything else you would beat them instead.

Are you insane?

You responded to a post of mine refuting an assertion that it's easier to permaslow using Frozen Mallet than Rylai's.

Where did I mention the stats? You're the one who brought stats into this.

Holy shit you people need to learn how to read before joining an internet forum.

its stats arent that good. theres at least 7 other more offensive buys which offer more value than 100ap. and standalone health on anyone is worthless without additional armor/mr behind it, making it a terrible first item rush.

Now point out where I said it's a good first item rush. Are you seeing arguments that no one ever made and responding to them? Do you need psychological help?

you're complaining that the slow is too much, i dont see you endlessly kiting.

I was comparing its slow to FM.

rylias will not make you survive additional situations where otherwise you would die without rylias, its just a very very small buffer.

Yeah because I'm sure you've never barely been killed by an enemy DOT or ignite. No way four hundred health could have prevented that.

And I'm sure you've never had an enemy bruiser roll up on you and catch you because he had deadman's. Surely a slow can't help you with that.

Please stop.

the stats are fine, the slow amount is fine, there are champion outliars which abuse the item.

It's actually being bought on basically everyone. It's a near universally good item for mages.

Is that a bad thing? Not sure, I don't think it necessarily is. I have no issue with IE being nearly universal on ADCs.

everyone complaining about rylias forgets that the majority of mages have multiple items backing them before they buy it. the item isnt a rush, the stats dont make you unkillable, you did not attempt a counterbuild, and you most certainly arent being 1v1d exclusively because of the rylias where if they had literally anything else you would beat them instead.

No one said it was a rush, nor did I actually complain about Rylai's. I was refuting someone comparing it to FM.

Go take a course on logic, or seek psychological help, because you are attacking arguments that I never once made in this thread. I didn't say it was a rush, I didn't say it made you unkillable, I never said I never change my build to accomodate it (I main Wukong top and Master Yi jungle, I don't give a fuck about Rylai's), and I play champions who easily 1v1 almost every Rylai's rushing mage.

who said he needs to spam spells?

Calabok1 votes

No way he can permaslow shit with Rylais. Its fine on him.

Sona x Rubick1 votes

he can slow people for like at least 6 seconds, permaslow isn't needed. And it still gives 100 AP.

FMitem 3022 is mostly meant for melee champs (As least, this is my opinion on it) that don't have alot of sticking power/consistent CC to keep on their targets. An example would be Warwick as aside from his Ult, he really has no way to stay on a target. (Yes, I know about the movement speed granted by his E) If he doesn't build FM, he has an undying addiction to Red buff, as that (Aside from his ult) is the only way he can hold a target down. Hopefully, his upcoming rework (now that the new Yorick has been revealed) will fix that.

Another use of FM is for champions that don't have alot of survivability. It grants the champ who builds it some relative tankiness to hopefully help them survive long enough to use their abilities effectively. An example of this would be the old, Pre-Juggernaut Darius . As many players would know, his Q, Pre-Juggernaut, did not heal him. And due to the natural danger and pretty consistent threat he posed, most Darius players (myself included) would have to build tanky in order to survive long enough to be useful to the team.

That's my two bits on the whole deal, take it as you will, and have a good day! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
