I think banners for getting positive up votes or whatever really just fall on deaf ears and is pretty pointless

How about banners for players whose KDA rank among the highest in their area for a specific champ?

Say there's 100,000 Rammus players, only 500 of the best qualify for a specific banner or emote or something that shows off their rankings. Also a skin that is only unlockable for being a top 1-5 player of that champ?

#Ranks 500-100 Unique game queue banner with their champ ranking #Ranks 99-11 Unique banner, emote #Ranks 10-2 Unique banner, emote, ward skin #Ranks 1 Unique banner, emote, ward skin, and champ skin.

Players have to maintain their rank with that champ to continue to use said items. Champ rankings can be determined by KDA averages and matches played. Say someone with 100 matches has a 9-3-13 KDA, but someone with 40 matches also has a 9-3-13 KDA. The one with more matches gets the higher ranking for being as good for longer

I think this would be pretty dope tbh o.o

This seems very unlikely to happen because it'd make people value their kda more than winning potentially, and Riot doesn't want people to play 'unnaturally' so as to ruin the experience for people focusing on winning as efficiently as possible.
