Kalista passive balancing.

Playing a game as Braum, I'm doing pretty good at 2/8/33 with a fair amount of items.

Teams are basically at equal, despite our Gnar feeding kills to both top and mid lane for no good reason.

They take our nexus turrets down, we take all three of their inhibs and get ready for a final push.

My entire team dies during the push, everyone on their team but Fiora and Kalista are dead. I am still alive, I back off because Kalista is at our base.

I teleport back (Fastest way) And immediately try to stop her.

And as it turns out, every time she hits the nexus she has her jump ability back up! So she just hops around the nexus completely avoiding me. Not even hitting her with my Q slowed her down enough to stop her. I had no options what so ever with no way in hell to stop her.

Why the hell does her passive work off structures? That's bullshit all she's gana do is fucking hip hop around the nexus.

The last time something like this happened (In the LCS mind you) It was Xpeke with Kassadin, his R got nerfed immediately after due to that shit. So why is Kalista allowed to have this type of thing? She should NOT be able to do this with structures that's just bullshit.

Has anyone else had this problem? Because I tried everything including activate my randuins to slow her down further and NOTHING WORKED. I literally had no option but to fruitlessly run around the nexus as if I could ever possibly catch her. Looking like a retard whal she easily picks up a win that they should not have gotten. In fact if she would have stopped to fight me, she would have died during the fight.

TL:DR Her passive should NEVER apply of freaking structures. That's bullshit.

(Note I would post pictures/videos of the incident if Lolreplay would stop being retarded, I'l post them when I get them)

kalista is fine honestly

play her a bit yourself and figure out the weaknesses of her passive and abuse them.

i'll give you some hints:

jump can't be cancelled once you start it.

  1. aim skillshots where she's jumping towards as soon as you see the animation

  2. in teamfights bait her to jump backwards and then don't commit. she has to walk forward to do damage again while the rest of her team is fighting without her.

  3. in 1v1s walk away from her to bait forward jumps. when she jumps forward turn on her and she will jump right into you.

See comment below for exactly what I did to fight her.

I did absolutely everything I could, but her passive just completely over-ride everything I did to fight her. There was literally nothing I could do. No matter how many slows I could have put on her, no matter how many hits I landed on her with my Q. Even if I stunned her, I would not have had the time to kill her before she just jumped away again.

(Keep in mind I would have killed her if she would have 1v1'd me, too much armor her attacks on me were useless)

Lolreplay continues to give me issues, pictures may be posted tomorrow to show what happened exactly for anyone confused.

her passive is just OP in general, it's literally a dash that has a CD scaling with attack speed....#balancedchamp

I don't care if her passive stays, just make it not effect champions or structures. If ANYTHING just take off the structure part because this loss made me so furious I had to get off the game for the night, this game should not have been lost but instead we get this bullshit passive which LITERALLY won her the game. Not the skill of the player, just the freaking champion. Now if she had done this as, Thresh, Soraka, Morgana, or pretty much any other champion I would totally respect the skill it took to evade me for long enough to win the game. But this is just bullshit, I couldn't even stay on remotely the same side of the nexus as her.

Any no CD dash should be removed from game, its just stupid.

I think the problem was that you were braum. Braum would have a hard time catching any mobile adc by himself.

with a dash to allied minions, a slow, his ult, and any support item actives he would be way better equipped to catch them than most champions

Not so much. His slow and ult are pretty easy to dodge because of the travel time, and braum needs a relic shield his support item. So unless you have a minion to jump to for a close range q, you will not be about to catch her

Taric has a pretty easy time catching her. Im not sure about leona.

he really doesn't, and even though it's great for laning you're still better off switching to talisman later on because it gets hard to use the cs charges and the active is just 10x better. anyways, i really meant stuff like righteous glory or randuin's omen (which the OP had) the OP also said he landed his Q and it seems like, if it should be so difficult to land, that succeeding should actually mean that you outplayed kalista because of how difficult it was. but because slows do not affect kalista's dash, you have been outplayed at champ select.

I landed my Q once I got there, but she was on the opposite side of the nexus. I tried to catch up then just barely caught her with my Randiuns. At which point I managed to get one auto attack before she dashed away and went to the opposite side of the nexus. I didn't have any CDR so my Q was still on cooldown and I couldn't finish off the stun. (Also no flash due to fight at enemy nexus)

Yeah, that cool down is rough. Im pretty much addicted to frozen heart on braum because of it.

But a good ezreal could have had done pretty much the same thing, or a vayne. Braum has trouble with the mobile adcs in general
