Could we interact with towers to make then target players to reduce these early dives?
Maybe by channeling on the turret (like the dominion capture things) for 1 - 1.5 seconds makes it ignore minions for 5-10 seconds and target players and give its shots a cleave effect.
Something. Anything. To make towers not feel as worthless as they do currently.
Let me give you an example.
You are and your ADC are farmin' away, both lvl 5. Tri and river are warded. You see mid on mini map roaming down. "no prob, we both see mid lets just back off " Then you see the jungler show up on mini map and think "Well fuck here we go again"
So at my filthy casual elo ( low gold ) this is how the situation plays out (in my experience)

You run away from the tower and pray your ADC comes with you instead of stickin around for those last 3 caster minions. Your tower gets blown up in one wave less than 10 minutes into the game. Not much you can do

You try to stay and defend. The tower decides that 3 caster minions are more of a threat than 4 enemy players. The enemy team is allowed to completely ignore the fact that you are near a defensive structure and dives, usually with a CoC jungler leading the way. The jungler tanks 4-5 tower shots while diving you, doing 1/3 your hp while doing so, and give 3 other players the freedom to do whatever they can to kill you without an fear of taking any damage.
Its very important to understand at this elo I am not Madlife, and my ADC isn't Doubelift. Our chances of doing much here 2v4 is pretty low.
So here's my suggestion
-Towers now have a 5 minute cooldown(or whatever length of time is appropriate)that requires a player to channel at the tower for 1 second to activate it. -The tower will now prioritize targeting enemy players and gain a cleave effect on its shots ( Like Ravenous Hydra ), this would make aggro juggling more dangerous and give some threat to people not directly taking the tower shots
I think this would help tremendously with the current bot lane situation. I think it would also keep dives possible in solo lanes in 1v1 situations because the tower isn't instantly toggle-able (lol at that word) due to the channel time.
Is this a low elo pleb bad idea or something that could be considered?
