I need help. Who really counters Diana mid really hard?

People say "burst her down gg ez wp." Well if I play Annie, which I believe Diana IS a counter to and pretty much all burst mages, I cannot get her down to 50% through that RIDICULOUS shield which costs her LIKE 10 FUCKING MANA TO USE and she spams her Q which costs 20 mana to use so she's always full mana and then she just rushes Abyssal Sceptre. If I go even with her in lane then she just roams and gets a triple kill and the game is over. She snowballs so fucking hard its unbelievable. How do you beat this champ, EVERYTIME?

Azir can zone her (she will have to farm with Q) and his lategame dmg is better.

There is no way to beat a champ EVERYTIME. Just champions who have favorable matchups. Try champs who punish all-ins like Annie, Malzahar and Galio.

Chogath. If she hits you with cresent, rupture where you are. You're too tanky for her to burst. Also, silence is golden.

She is a fighter, which means she easily wrecks most assassins. Try another fighter or a long range mage.

If you play Annie against any assassin, get ROA.

That aside, Diana does indeed have counters. Malzahar and Galio pretty much counters all assassins.

AP Bruisers such as Chogath or Swain might gain a lane advantage on Diana, but they will have trouble killing her themselves.

Don't pick a burst mage or assassin into Diana. Despite being an AP assassin herself, Diana counters all assassin/mages because she brings tankiness as well as damage. Her trade off is that her combo is reliant on her landing Q. Unlike other assassins such as Talon or Rengar who can 100-0 at will, Diana needs to land her Q first and can be peeled off as she engages.
