However, Ahri is based on the Nine-Tailed Fox, so it makes thematic sense at least.

The sexy factor isn't what bothered me, it was the fact that her old splash dress looked uncomfortable. It looked as if her boob was about to fall out of her dress and be like "oops"

I would say the clothes were a tad too dark. I didn't even know it was vertically striped on the model until today, and I own the skin.

The face in the new model is horrendous, though. I agree. I would've just touched up the clothes and made them a little brighter (to fit the League motif) and then left it at that. The model was fine.

In my opinion, what the splash art did was rotate Fiora 90 degrees, change her clothes, and change up the setting a bit (which has the misfortune of lightening up the red streak on her hair), and change her expression a bit.

The expression change really is the only thing that you can really say makes her less sexy, but having it make her less sexy gives a new window into her personality that wasn't completely captured in her old art. It perfectly captures her confidence (or arrogance, depending on who you talk to) in a way that the old splash art didn't, especially considering her hair covered half of her face in the old splash.

That's not true, imo. Fiora's old face was soft and pretty, but the new one looks like she got some freakish plastic surgery lol. Maybe it's just my personal preference or that her face is so unnaturally angular, but her new splash is definitely less attractive for that reason.

I agree its mostly her face that needs work, looks really skinny and frail imo. The old Royal Guard skin looks a lot better than the new one(That hat isn't fancy enough, step up your game) and I think all it really needed was a texture update. Nightraven Fiora's armor is a big improvement, Headmistress only really needed a few tweaks here and there instead of starting from fresh. The armor on default Fiora is well done.

Think the models could've been kept nearly exactly the same with just a texture update instead of a full VU.

It's in-line with the direction they've been taking all their splashes ever since Kat and Trist got theirs redone. A bit more emphasis on color, a bit more exaggeration on the length/width of the faces, and more developed, meaningful backgrounds that say something about the champ...save Kat's...>_>
