The solo queue mentality how it can be as toxic as afking (unless you're really good or whatever :P)
Let's get riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight into the guide I literally just thought of at 2:30 at night after finishing a game as middle-sticks
and thinking to myself "boy, we really went back and forth taking turns throwing the game before we won somehow, if only I didn't have the solo queue mentality of specifically not caring whether we win or lose but just about having that thing called fun. Wait a minute... I should go to bed I- HOLY SH*T I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THIS ON THE BO"- and here I am about to do my best to explain in the least sporadic way possible, how to avoid the solo queue mentality and dooming yourself to a lifetime of playing *full ap draven because litchbane is pretty good on him apparently and it only makes sense to go all the way and build more ap on him.
*disclaimer: I'm not saying that you shouldn't play goofy builds that don't make conventional sense, I'm saying don't play a goofy build because you didn't get your pick or you just don't care about winning and you want to have fun and you're not with your friends and you're really tired/high at the moment.
Okay. So at this point you might be thinking "oh you're just a dunkey copy you villainous dunky copy" but hold your horses (donkeys) He never made a legit guide on the solo queue mentality did he now? Yeah, that's what I thought. Now sit down and listen up, because I'm only proofreading this once or twice after I type it all out.
To avoid the solo queue mentality one must first question why they are playing the game. Is it to compete with others to test their various skill ranging from laning, last hitting, champion mastery, mechanical mastery, knowledge, teamfighting, and all the other good stuff that makes this game so fun? Or is it because of how the characters look (it is isn't it. Don't be shy, we all know you only got darius because of the dunkmaster skin.), or perhaps it's because you want a game where you move a character around and have him do stuff to kill stuff. If that last two describe the sole
reason why you play lol then congratulations you're should probably play a different game before you breath in too much of the "toxic fumes". Because once you've breathed in enough, you become immune, but the process can be long, and very very... very painful.
Now that we've weeded out the weak and those who probably had lives worth living it's time to tell that in order to avoid the solo queue mentality of doing f*ck all to co-ordinate with your team as long as you're having fun with your full tank
. Before the visual update. No the first one. Actually nvm at that point in the game it was probably viable up to diamond or whatever.
You simply have to, not do that. I mean, you can also pick a champion who's kit and gameplay/builds you enjoy playing without getting too bored, practice with it until you're challenger quality, look up guides, play some dota just to get an idea of what playing old league might have been like (but definitly wasn't rip
's old e) so that you can start at the same place where everybody else did and work your way up through league history until the current meta.
Or you can just get elo boosted like every other ape
in the game. Why not it's not like you're hurting anybody it's only a game aay llamo.
