Where did Xayah get her nose ring?

I mean seriously, isn't she some kinda magical bird chick? Did she see a bit of metal and think "Oh I'll stick this sh*t in through my nose piercing that I already have."

I'm in awe of the design choice. It's such a minor thing. Such a little detail that shouldn't even matter. Why am I even worrying about this? I just... COME ON MAN YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO MAKE THIS AWESOME LORE STUFF AND I'M TOTALLY COOL WITH THAT BUT HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? DID SHE DO IT IMPROPERLY? IS IT INFECTED? WAS IT THE DEGRADING HEALTH OF NATURE OF WHATEVER?

Don't take it away though otherwise we'll have "why can't blank have his/her blank" 2.0

Alot of tribal cultures designed body modification including tattoos and piercings. Also vi has a nose stud so piecing exists in valoran.

Well, crows and ravens like to collect shiny objects... and she is a bird... crows and ravens are birds as well. Metal is shiny. So, maybe its in her magicalgenes or something.

As far as body modification goes, this isn't that big. A lot of lower technology cultures can have piercings, rings, gages, tattoos, and whatnot and have had them for thousands of years.

Now, if Riot ever really wants to get cool and unique with body modifications, I'd tell them to go big. Ignore tats and piercings. They've been done. No, they should have a champion with pronounced Hun style skull bindings. Hell yeah. No one would expect to see that coming at them.

Nose rings aren't really out of the ordinary for tribes, but Vastaya can also shapeshift as beings of magic. If I remember correctly, I think a Rioter said that Rakan could shapeshift a tuxedo for himself if he wanted (it would strain him more, because it's not a natural expression of himself and who he is, but he could).
