Quinn support, is it viable, or only a troll pick?

The 5.22 changes on Quinn still didn't put her in a good spot as bot lane ADC, and kinda removed the option of tanky fighter top since her ult is now non-combat. But now she has amazing roam, and her cc from Vault is still good for burst trading as well as her Aerial Assault now has the ult execute. So what do you guys think Quinn's 5.22 role is?

Regardless, I feel that Quinn shouldn't drop out of her ult when clearing a ward. Maybe slowed down, but not dropped out of the ult entirely. On the same topic, attacking a ward shouldn't count as in-combat for all purposes, like losing Mobi boots buff.

Well from an honest technical stand point ANYTHING can support, its just a matter of some being custom fit to accel at it better, albeit more obviously than others. I used to play with an Ekko support and i was shocked to find that it actually worked out relatively better than you would expect despite not having a heal or shield to provide for me; he did his job by creating a safe space for me to farm. He kept vision with a sightstone, and setup good ganks or peels. He played an excellent supportive role despite not playing an obviously supportive champion. I mean even Annie wasn't made to be a support at first, but thats the role she adopted majorly in part by her reliable stun (and damage), despite not having heals and shields, but think of the other champions that can support in that exact same way but otherwise aren't considered "capable" of supporting?

I remember a diamond support veteran told me a long time ago that support is a role, not a champion.

If you really feel you can make a support Quinn work try it out if and wherever able and find a playstyle and meta for it that you find is most optimal for it.

Support? Nothing about her says support, she can't protect the carry, she has no real CC, she has no heals or shields. She doesn't even have her blind anymore. She can just roam. I would call it a pretty troll pick.

Marksman supports tend to be a bad idea overall. But this is from limited experience.

There is only two things in Quinn's kit that would work for support. Otherwise, it's a bad idea for me.

I dunno about you, but I've won 5/6 games so far with Quinn, once as bot adc, the rest as top lane 1800 movespeed assassin. She can literally gank by going THROUGH the lane from base.

Honestly I'd say she's super op at the moment and is gonna get the Skarner treatment, where she's buffed till people start playing her right with her new kit, then is gonna be not just op but broken. But hey, as long as Riot keeps buffs coming I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.
