Seriously today i got bored and played Urgot and i feel like with the current Juggernaut items and with AD and health items i can't figure out why Urgot isn't picked more often. I don't think hes weak and with just how much ARPEN he can get it baffles me as to why he literally is just not picked every game.
If someone could enlighten me it would be appreciated.

This is what confuses me because he could easily be over the top with tanky items putting out more dps at such a huge range.

What does adc stand for?
Attack/Damage/Carry
Urgot does not do this
Urgot is LTA
Lock/Tank/Attack
He locks down a target, he tanks some damage, and then he attacks
This is why when Urgot finnally was meta again he had much more success in the Mid lane then in the bot lane, the mid lane is seen as a role where you provide decent damage while also bringing a toolkit that helps out the entire team. We have times where this is not always true, but the majority of the time the mid lane is a role that brings damage with abit of utility.
Once again this is why Urgot was a amazing mid laner, but not so much a great adc, simply because he is not a adc.
However if you want to play Urgot botlane, this is not to say it is impossible, however if you were to play urgot bot lane, simply because you do not bring high amounts of damage, you would need to ask either the jungler or the top laner to play a solid carry play style champion.
For example I will list you a famous team comp involving four champions
Rengar, lu lu, Sivir, Oriana
Sivir just like Urgot is not a "true adc", you bring rengar into the comp with the support of sivir ultimate and lu lu protection with oriana ball plays with the expectations that Rengar will become your true adc and cause havoc in the front line.
You will see the same with Urgot comps.
TLDR-if you wanna play urgot adc either the top laner or the jungler needs to know how to play a legit ad carry champions to wombo combo with you.

No one said anything about ADC or him being an ADC.
Also hes more of a fighter than anything else and the reason he was taken mid was because he was super oppressive in the worst kind of way and could completely zone out other mids for fear of his E-Q combo.
